2025 Hyandai Elantra Coolant issue

Loved the vehicle for the initial 8months before the coolant started to completely empty out. Car ended up in the shop more than I would have liked. They could not figure out what was wrong with it. Learned each service representative by name. Had to get hyandai to repurchase it from me. Never want to do that again.

Still no wireless carplay

When i purchased the car over a year ago, the dealership told me wireless carplay would be available in the next few months. Its been over a year and I have not heard anything.

Elantra style

I have been leasing Hyundai for 10 years. The 25 Elantra is not my preference. After having a Venue, going back to an Elantra was not my best choice.

Car runs well, accelerates well. You can feel a bit of a gear change when it down shifts from gear 2 to 1. Everything else runs very smoothly. Not a big fan of the handle in the middle console.

Great car for the money

It’s a really great car. It’s fuel efficient and it rides smooth. Not the best as far as power but it does have good acceleration. I really enjoy my Elantra.

Getting in

The only problem that I have with the vehicle is getting in and out. i'm 6 feet tall weigh 220 pounds and at age 85. I find it difficult getting in and out. I think the primary problem is that the car sits lower to the ground than others. The car drives very nicely, I'm very comfortable, the trunk is spacious enough that I can get my Rollator in and out easily.

Overall the car is good and I enjoy driving it. The heat and AC are below average and could use more power as it has a vierty difficult time keeping up on cold and hot days. Also the CarPlay is terrible. Its inconsistent and difficult to get it to work while also keeping your iphone connected to cellular service.

Great car, but the transmission is slow to respond

The car is great, but I’ve noticed a significant delay in shifting gears. While driving, the transmission feels hesitant, and the RPMs stay high for too long before the next gear finally kicks in. It makes the driving experience feel a bit disconnected.
