New Car Review

For the most part my new Elantra is great. I am sorry to learn there is no backing up sensors at all. This makes parking more difficult. Thereā€™s just not enough storage space for the driver. Since my cell phone has to be wired to the car, this only adds to the lack of space. Also in bad weather the forward moving camera goes off line when itā€™s needed most.

recalled

this vehicle was sold to me in June 2026 and had a recall from march 2026 (which we were never notified about) for faulty B pillar sensor. my daughter was in an accident in which it was hit in the B pillar, so the airbags did not deploy and she was hurt pretty badly. very unhappy with Hyundai and their cars!!

Lease car. Love it.

Owned a Sonnata before and loved it. But I love the Elantra size that's smaller.

2026 Elantra N Line

Great little econ-o-box cruiser. Quiet interior. Peppy engine that gets you up to speed. I would not purchase this car if its not the N Line trim. The extra power in the motor makes a huge difference and it has all the features you need. Down side, the Bose stereo sucks. Typical Bose sound signature lacks punch. Tweeters are not clean, crisp, and bright. Bose has always rolled off its highs and it sucks. Have Pioneer or Alpine do the sound system Hyundai, PLEASE.
