A Whole NEW Elantra

I have never been lucky enough to drive off a dealership’s lot driving a brand new car with a mere 10 miles on the odometer…especially one that has gone through a futuristic design process that is feature packed, super fun (and safe) to drive… but that was me a few months back and in real life and let me say, I am really enjoying this life while I continue to invent reasons to get behind the wheel and go on another journey to who knows where without a care in the world. Everyone should have a chance to drive this car, you will be hooked. I promise.

New Car Review

For the most part my new Elantra is great. I am sorry to learn there is no backing up sensors at all. This makes parking more difficult. There’s just not enough storage space for the driver. Since my cell phone has to be wired to the car, this only adds to the lack of space. Also in bad weather the forward moving camera goes off line when it’s needed most.

recalled

this vehicle was sold to me in June 2026 and had a recall from march 2026 (which we were never notified about) for faulty B pillar sensor. my daughter was in an accident in which it was hit in the B pillar, so the airbags did not deploy and she was hurt pretty badly. very unhappy with Hyundai and their cars!!
