Really nice features for its trim level

I’m still learning more and more about this car and it still really amazes me how futuristic it is even for an SE model. I just wish that I had gotten approved for the SEL instead but this one will still do because it gets me from point A to B and it’s very quick when it switches into Sport mode and it’s really efficient on gas as well!

My third Elantra since 2013.

The 2026 Elantra is much quieter than my previous models. Gas milage is acceptable at ~26 mpg. Hope it improves with time.

Good for the price

I had a rental and I liked it . It was a 2025 fully loaded, had to get a new car other one was totaled out, when I went to get a new one the only fully loaded ones were either black or white which I didn't want either color so I got galaxy grey but it wasn't fully loaded. It's okay as I only drive to work and the store

Good sedan for the money!

The 2026 Elantra is a comfortable car with great pick-up and a relatively quite ride. The only things I don't like are the somewhat wierd "handbar" between the driver's seat and the front passenger seat, as well as the small trunk opening. While the trunk itself is a good size, the access to it is somewhat limited due to the shape and angle of the trunk lid.

The “Take a Break” warning needs to go

Good MPG. You can’t go more than 30 minutes without a distracting warning to take a break. Even after taking a break, it comes back in around 5 minutes. It can’t be turned off. Ruins the drive, distracts the drivers attention by turning down music and loudly chiming. Makes you think something is actually wrong, but nothing is. Hopefully no one crashes while looking down at the display to see why their car is chiming at them!
