Absolutely terrible range

It was my first time leasing a Hyundai and most likely. It will be the last one for my entire 84 members of my family. We are very discouraged by the depreciation and the horrible range.

I bought new two years ago. Currrent milage is $22K. overall experience has been great. battery lost a little bit of health from 100% to 95%.

The Ioniq 6 is a great car but it's not perfect.

The Ioniq 6 SE has a sleek and very sporty design which has gotten the attention of many people who ask about it. I appreciate its very smooth ride, its acceleration capabilities, its fast charging, and for the rear-wheel drive version its excellent range - one that exceeds most EV's including ones that are much higher priced.

Great car, bad ICCU, charging degredation

I love this car. I hate the uncertainly it brings with it's suspect ICCU which as already failed going 70 MPH on the freeway and instantly scaling down to 20MPH. Also, several times just a few minutes after plugging in to charge at home, I got messages about reducing charging speed due to heat. Both of these things were covered in software updates/recalls yet neither of these things are resolved. I know two other people with this car and BOTH had their ICCU die. Aside from that, the car is incredible. Sleek, modern tech, fast as lightning and really beautiful. It's a head turner that makes driving really fun. I wish it had HUD and wireless AA as well. It also should have come with a better quality 12 volt. If it weren't for the ICCU and charging issues it would be a an easy 9/10.

Dependable second car

The fact that I drive only 4000 miles a year and can get free Phillips from my Hyundai dealer. That is only 2 miles away. Makes it a perfect decision for me.

Missing the Little Details

Overall, a good car— Hyundai should pay slightly more attention to details going forward. Key areas I found lacking were the car software, the sensitivity tuning of the proximity sensor, the lack of surround view cameras on all models, the battery range, the lack of a spare tire, and trunk door design.

Phenomenal vehicle

As title says, it is one of the best vehicles in the market if you are looking for a reliable city commuter or for occasional weekend drives out of town. Not the most fun for extended road trips since there is a bit of road noise but nothing too glaring. Regardless, driving this car is super nice with exceptional handling. Overall, a great car.

Great car, needs some simple enhancments

The car is an absolute dream to drive, with a couple of items that need improvement. The ultrasonic sensors seem to go off incorrectly, telling me a car is about to hit me when I, and all the cars around me, are stopped. Also, when I am making a sharp turn and braking, the brakes sometimes provide more stopping than I requested. Also, the center console window controls are different than most other cars, and difficult to get used to. Touchy breaks, hyperactive motion sensors, other than that the car is excellent.
