Love the drive--HATE the Dealer / Hyundai--what is going on???

The Ioniq 6 is a blast to drive--great acceleration and handling. However--at least three returns to dealer for Hyundai software updates...we could live with that. Now--a pump leak with damage to electricals in a 2024 car--What??? It's been at the dealer since August 6--over a month and no date for when the car gets fixed and returned. We had a good experience with our previous Hyundai (an Elantra). Our household has two other electric/ plug in hybrid vehicles which have been excellent--a Chevy Volt and a Ford F150 Lightning

Excellent first EV experience!

My iONIQ 6 is the first EV I've purchased and I'm very glad I did. It's reliable, cool-looking, has amazing features and performs excellently. There are a few minor quirks (not related to its being an EV) that drag down my star rating, but I would buy or lease another.

The vehicle within 2 weeks of driving started smokes.

The showroom gave some random reason for smoke, and forced me to continue with a lemon. Then comes 2 recalls, which after leaving in the showroom for 2 weeks, bam, tada, weren't addressed. Reason: random again. Safe for now it seems. Zero stars for reliability on the vehicle and the showroom too. Flimsy vehicle.

Looks speed and economical and so fricken better than a Tesla

Our 2024 Ioniq 6 is noticed at the office for a sleek design. when I tell co workers it costs me $2.77 a day to travel 75 miles to work, I then watch the mouths drop. I enjoy the sound system: rocking down the interstate but I have to be cautious using the cruise control as the 80mph seems like 55 and could easily be doing 94 with the crowds.

A few tech glitches

The problems are mostly tech. Radio presets don’t store between drivers, rear windows occasionally don’t roll down.The app and the car and the dealership don’t talk to each other. My car always shows service due in app, which is different from my car, which is different than my dealer window sticker.
