Plug-In

Purchased this car to battle the increasing costs of fuel for a commuter vehicle. Its a Plug-in version so best of both worlds. 30miles EV only so no fuel during the summer drives however uses fuel for heating the cabin but also maintains the battery on the drive so no biggie. I average about $60 month fuel and $50 Electric for charging with 1,800kms per month driving. AMAZING!! And no range anxiety as its 100% Hybrid when the EV juice runs out. I drive right by the long line ups at the EV charging stations where EV only cars are awaiting their turn to charge. Happy miles with happy smiles:)

Reliable, useful, comfortable, economic

Efficient hybrid with useful electronic capability. Acceleration is sufficient for all CA needs. .Hybrid is especially useful for long distance business trips where concerns about recharging a purely electric vehicle would exist.

Excellent car with a couple of quirks

Overall, I’ve been very happy with the car. First thing I have to do was get a black dash mat because of the interior color the dashboard was white and it reflected light on the windshield and the side windows, making it difficult to see the side mirrors 80% of the time during the day. The most annoying thing this car does is to turn off the Regenerative braking system when the temperature goes above 95°, which in Arizona is pretty much from June to September. It definitely makes you use your brakes more and have to use more effort to apply the brakes than you do when the regenerative system is operational. I am unsure why Hyundai hasn’t fixed this or done anything about it since I don’t know of any other hybrid that has this issue.

Probably My Favorite Hyundai Vehicle

I've leased a few Hyundai cars since 2014 and now I am currently on my third lease. The Hyundai Ioniq is probably my favorite Hyundai vehicle I've had so far with the features like "BlueLink", and having a huge storage space trunk with the Hatchback design. It still looks sleek and doesn't look too much like a "mom" vehicle even with the hatchback trunk. Also I like that the Hybrid feature saves me more on gas especially commuting to work or when I have to run errands.

Hyundai has the best maintenance progran!

We bought Hyundai Ioniq tp replace our old Honda civic and we were pleasantly surprised by the overall performance of the hybrid car. Very good mileage and saves us a lot of gas in the long run! Thanks!

Gorgeous, easy to drive, comfortable for passengers, huge hauling capacity, incredible MPG

I regularly get 60+ MPG, and never below 55 MPG when running stop-and-go errands. My Ioniq is really nice to drive, and has tons of features that both I and my passengers love, like heated, adjustable seats, multi-zone heating and cooling, and a terrific sound system.

I love my dealership and my Ioniq

We love our Ioniq. The great mileage it gets is so fantastic. It surprised me. We get on average 58mpg on a tank. Saving so much on gas really helps with todays economy. I think we are a Hyundai family for life. This is the 5th one we have bought. Our daughter liked our so much that they bought one.

I am really enjoying this vehicle. I enjoy the technology and love driving it!

I chose an HEV over ab PHEV because it is the right technology for the current existing infrastructure. It is absolutely great to drive! I have seen mpg figures as high as 89 mpg. Its overall average for the first 10,000 miles has been 55-56 mpg. What more could I ask?

Love this car

Such a great vehicle for app jobs! The amount of money I save because of the great mileage this vehicle provides. The trunk can also hold so much space when I need to store a lot of items in my car! I get so many compliments as well!

Oddly satisfying

Drove it and found that it just “fit” me. That sold it and with its 50 plus mpg even at daily 70 mph plus runs to and from work it’s a car worth having because it lets you go places and have a life without worrying about what gas cost to get to the point you want to be to enjoy your life.

Beyond Expectations

The car is very user friendly. I was worried upon purchase that I’d have difficulty figuring out all the bells and whistles but I figured it out pretty quickly. It handles the road well and the mpg is incredible.

Love the gas mileage

Love the gas milage and convenience of not having to stop and wait for electric car to recharge Dealervwasvery upfront about all navigation systems are thru my phone but just a little inconvenient also I have to plug into make calls but overall really like the hybrid

Great on gas and style. Color geese. Comfortable seats and ride. Color is beautiful. High end looking vehicle. Color gray is so handsome

Rides like a dream. So smooth and engine so quiet. Blue link is awesome. What a feature. Keynes’s entry is the best. I can get in car asp during dark nights. Easy and enjoy the no plug in phone charger.

Great car.

I leased this car new after seeing a YouTube video that said it was awesome. It is! I finished one lease and then leased this one (my second IONIQ). I wish Hyundai would not discontinue the IONIQ so that I could get one for my son when he is old enough to lease a car.

2020 Hyundai Ionic Hybrid

I bought this car as a daily commuter because of the excellent gas mileage (averaging 50 mpg). However, we have taken it on several long trips (10-13 hours) and have found it to be very comfortable. The interior design is well laid out and easy to use. The exterior styling is not the coolest but it is an extremely functional vehicle.

Fuel Efficiency and Space

The Ioniq regularly matches its 58 mpg fuel efficiency rating for me. I one time got 620 miles out of 10.5 gallons in northern Minnesota! I am also constantly surprised by the rear storage space. I fit an entire (disassembled) bed frame and mattress back there once, and a 55” TV and fully assembled TV stand another time. Compact design is attractive, and fits in basically any parking spot, even that one between those two huge trucks! This car is amazing.

Fuel economy

Main thing is it’s fuel economy, easy to maneuver and cute to the eyes. Not too much with comfort because it’s a little bumpy, but it takes you to point A to point B. Vehicle price is reasonable. Otherwise I still enjoy the ride.

TOXIC SMELL FROM IONIC AC Dealership won't touch it because there is no warning light on saying a toxic smell is detected as if a senor in my car would actually do that. I have been complaining for two years.

Great car

I love my car. I get over 50 mph. It rides great. The interior features are all first class. Its a luxury car at a bargain price. I would definitely buy this car again in the future, to replace on of my other cars. But I might go with the new all electric model.
