Given the price to the market, the car was worth the money.

The 2024 Kona EV handles well. Given the high front end, this car needs a front camera. The air conditioning is fine in terms of energy usage even in sync mode, but the heating is an energy hog taking over 4KW when in sync mode at around 50% Fahrenheit. More importantly, I deem the heating to be barely adequate, so I have to fuss with it. (By the way, the first thing I will check when buying my next EV is heating, and then air conditioning.) This car's biggest deficit is the climate control. No one wants to be cold in the winter, and my winters are relatively mild.

Mostly wonderful

Low range in cold weather is worse than expected. Blue link will only work while phone is in car, so no pre-starting in winter and cannot charge above 80%. Dealer could not fix this. Everything else is fine.

Very reliable. Fun to drive. Complicated software.

Great car. Complicated electronics. After a year and watching many videos, I still can't figure out how to get to the tire pressure screen. If someone can send me clear instructions or call and walk me through it, that would be appreciated.

Useful, comfortable, reliable, excellent all-around car.

The most comfortable and useful car I'd owned. Because of circumstances, I traded it after only a year and 6,000 miles of driving. I hated to see it go and may consider an electric Kona in the future. All around excellent car.

"Absolutely loving my new Kona EV! Not only am I saving a ton on gas and maintenance, but this thing is seriously quick! It's a blast to drive and the savings are real. If you're looking for an electric vehicle that's both fun and practical, the Kona EV is a winner."

This is a very nice car to own and drive

We lover our Kona EV. It is well engineered and is easy and fun to drive. It is comfortable, smooth and quiet. Love the low EV maintenance and driving experience. We appreciate that it is very easy to find in a parking lot : )

Great car

Other than a bouncing driver assist that tends to hug right side of lane, great car. Quick, tech is for the most part up to date, don’t like that I don’t have spare Tire that comes with the vehicle, but purchased tire warranty.

Wonderfully safe car that is quiet and fun to drive.

The Hyundai Kona EV Limited is an exceptional vehicle and I highly recommend it. It has extensive safety features and a smooth and quiet ride. It has great acceleration and handles very well. The mileage on a charge is impressive.

Excellent Vehicle

I've been very happy with the vehicle. When I use it as a passenger vehicle, everybody is comfortable. The rear cargo area holds all my soccer coaching gear comfortably. The vehicle has been reliable and easy to clean. I was impressed that the vehicle came with items like paint protectors on the edge of the doors and inside the door handles. Service has been simple and the dealership is very accommodating.

Nice to drive

It's a comfortable car and it's fun to drive. It is a beautiful car. The only problem is to close the trunk because there is no electric button to do it automatically, and I am short and sometimes it is difficult to reach the handle to close the trunk.

Very nice car

The car has better driving range than I expected. The Kona has lots of amenities that I like, such as the automatic rear door closing. I have had some inconsistent readings with the app regarding doors open/locked. I would be even happier if it was a little smaller, but understand size is related to battery range.

Excellent Car to buy

Excellent Car for local use. The real driving range is 270 on 80% charging capacity. Like push buttons. It will be perfect if having heads-up system and dash cam. These will be very useful. Charging port door should be up up and down.

Inefficient and very slow charging

Replaced a gas powered Kona with this EV, and I don't know if I've really gained anything here. It drives better than the old one, but that's just part of the different kind of engine. Going from a charge in the 20% range to 80% takes anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour on the fast EvGO chargers. Using anything like level 2 or slower would be almost useless outside of home unless you were going to spend an extended period of time shopping or just wanted a little bit of a top off situation. I don't buy the EPA range at all - and I keep the car set on eco driving mode with the climate controls set on the reduced power settings to preserve range. The inside of the car is an insane gray-ish white color because of limited selection at the dealership so that'll be fun to keep clean with cloth seating. I still don't understand the cargo net setup in these cars. Maybe I'm weird in that I'd prefer something that organizes stuff to keep it from falling out of the back, not strapped to the floor like I'm transporting Gulliver for the Lilliputians. It's not the worst thing I've ever driven, but it's starting to get to me how Hyundai's prices keep going up while the cars feel like they're just getting less and less impressive. Also - why is it that the regular odometer doesn't have the option to show you the dynamic speed limit marker the way the weird minimalistic ones do? Everything about this brand anymore feels like playing a game of Russian roulette with bizarre trade offs and choices.

Better than expected!

Tight and solid feeling. Even over rough or uneven road surfaces. Zero squeaks or rattles. Handling is good for such a small SUV. Regeneration once you learn how to use it allows for one pedal driving. Bottom line was the $7500.00 instant rebate that made all the difference.

Love the 2024 Kona electric, SEL

This is a really fun car to drive, I love it! only complaint is that the sound is loud inside when it is in drive at low speeds, I understand necessity for this to keep pedestrians aware of the car, although soundproofing inside could be a bit better.
