Luv my Kona

Bought our Kona to replace a Tuscon as a way to have a smaller version. Took a few minutes to get up to speed with all the "new" technology... but it has been a pleasure to drive!

Sporty small SUV

Mine is a Kona N-line S. It's stylish and sporty. The 1.6 turbo charged engine offers great response and speed. Although mileage could be better for a small engine, it's not a drastic reduction and the turbo charge makes a difference. It's packed with all the bells and whistles you'd expect from Hyundai.

Perfect "Follow-Up" Family Vehicle

The Kona has great styling, a comfortable interior, a great ride and seat comfort, and good fuel economy. I leased a 2019 Kona and liked the vehicle, but it was small. That's when I leased a Honda HR-V. I was extremely disappointed with the HRV, and when the lease ended, we went ahead and purchased the 2025 Kona. This larger, more practical Kona fits the bill with style, comfort, and a larger cargo area! I've had 5 Elantras and now 2 Konas from Hyundai! They're great cars!

Excellent small SUV that handles all road conditions well

Seamless touchscreen and dashboard, lots of cargo since, especially if the seats are down, handles excellent in mud, snow, and sand with the AWD. Not a fan of the lighter interior in mine as I have young kids and a fog and it gets dirty fast. Also wish it had adjusting cruise control for when I come up on slower cars. I have to manually decrease the speed or acceleration.

After a year, I still love my Kona. The handling is tight and the 1.6T engine and 8-speed auto transmission smooth as silk. I see no reason at this point that if you take care of this engine, don’t abuse it and have regular maintenance performed that this vehicle wouldn’t last many many years of driving enjoyment.
