Firstly, I name all my cars. I owned an Elantra for 12 years so I knew I would be interested in another Hyundai. I did my research & decided on the Kona SEL. It was a great decision! I love this vehicle & all the features. I was immediately comfortable driving it.

Love the look but has its quirks

Have had brake noise issues since purchasing... said it was due to rust on Rotors..machining off rust didn't help, just replaced the rotors ..still hearing 'thumping' noise but not as bad but means I will need to take time from work again to take it in again.

Love: I sit high in small SUV; no automatic trunk opener is negative

I like the car a lot- especially that's it's small, but I can sit high and the passenger seat can be low for older people. The radio and media system is not that great and plugging in my iPhone often disconnects the radio for short periods. I didn't realize that the car didn't have an automatic trunk opener & closer so that's annoying. I can't pop teh trunk or press a button to close the trunk.

Computers are baffling

Took a long drive to Massachusetts with no issues. A few days ago I went to the grocery store a 12 mile ride, and the silly dashboard told me I might want to take a rest.

One of the best cars!

Really love the style and look of the vehicle. Coming from an older car, the Hyundai Kona is techy and I love it. Compared to others in similar size, you cant beat the price and warranty. Best car out there for a compact!

I love it

The Kona is sharp looking, very comfortable, has safety & convenience features (and a ton of upgrades available). The ride is nice and smooth and it's just the right size for me as a single person. My only disappointment is the lack of storage space in the front seat. The inside of the console is tiny and I always keep a lot of stuff in my console.
