Great overall, but some annoying tech stuff

Overall, I love my Kona. It drives smooth, the audio quality is great, and I love the size of the infotainment screen. However, I have begun to hate a tech "safety" feature that is impossible to turn off on 2025 models. Multiple times when I'm driving, the car starts dinging at me, and an icon of a steaming cup of coffee comes up that says "Consider taking a break." I have researched it and it's not possible to turn it off/disable it. I really hope that the "powers that be" will do something about this.

Great design, comfort, utility and fun

Just about all aspects of this vehicle make it great. Handles well, great mileage, dual use for people, and keeps lots of materials in it. When I used to drive rental cars, I looked for features that I would want to see - this vehicle has just about all of them and is a joy to drive.

Reliable, safe and sleek

The 2025 Kona is very safe and reliable. It looks very sleek and modern, and the interior is very roomy for being a small suv. There is a lot of trunk space and leg room for passengers. The safety features are also very helpful when backing out or switching lanes.

The Kona is an excellent choice.

We have very much enjoyed our purchase of the Kona. It is taller than our old 2015 Elantra and thus much easier for me to get in and out. That said, the Elantra was a very reliable car for 10 years, over 120,000 miles. The Kona is very comfortable to drive and ride in. While we haven't taken it on a long drive, the mileage in town has been remarkably good, especially considering the hot weather and have the AC on almost every drive.
