Love it, mostly.

I love the car overall. It is so cute and fast and I feel secure when driving it in bad weather. The only complaints I have are very minor- sometimes the lock button on the outside driver's door doesn't work; it feels a little "bogged down" at random times. I would have loved the automatic wipers, but my Ultimate does not offer those. Overall, I love the car and will very likely buy another Hyundai when it's time.

Feels like little tin can

Road noisy, crowded small and uncomfortable inside. Manual Tailgate heavy and hard to manage .

2025 Kona - loving it

Bought my Kona in November. It's only been a bit over 6 weeks but so far im really enjoying this vehicle. Mileage is better than I expected. It handles great in all conditions including snow and torrential rain. Still learning about the tech options but I don't have a single complaint.

Best Car I Have Owned

Performance: A- Handling: A+ interior Style: A- Warranty: A+ Exterior style: A+ CONS: The -/+ flappers at the 10&2 spot is DUMB: F- on that! You can easily hit them and put car into manual transmission. Dumb positioning! Did I mention, dumb?!?! Headlight case is already getting discolored (🙄). No sunglass holder. Gas mileage hasn’t been nearly as good as advertised. Over-all, outside of my Hyundai sonata I owned 25 yrs ago, it’s the best car I have ever owned. I love it and will never go back to 2 wheel drive car. This thing handles ice and snow like a champ! Final grade: A-

Overall I am satisfied with 2025 KONA. Dealer sale rep pushed me and I would have upgraded. The back door is a pain. Not enough storage. Seat belt is hard for me to buckle.

Design is good but some functionalities are disappointing

I like the design. However it was surprising and disappointing the trunk door (tailgate) is completely manual. No button to open it on the dashboard. No automatic opening and closing button on the door itself. It is a disaster for a short skinny female.

More tech but less reliable than my 2022 Kona limited

If the modem that communicates with the app on my phone worked for 6 consecutive months without open tickets Hyundai Bluetooth ignores and repeated needs to visit the dealer, I might like this car more. transmission is wonky too!
