N Line S Transmission behavior

When accelerating, even fairly gently, often the engine revs way high but the car doesn't move. Feels like the engine is not connected to the transmission or something. Was told by service advisor that this is normal for Kona N Line and a few other Hyundai models. Frankly, it is dangerous to press the gas and not have the car move. Can't really believe this is normal behavior for a vehicle.

2025 KONA is a keeper! You'll love it

I have a little over 2,000 miles on my 2025 KONA and enjoyed every mile. The engine purrs like a kitten, The seats are very comfortable, it is very quiet from outside noise, and you have to be real carful because the ride could put you to sleep.
