Good Decision

I traded in a gas-engine Palisade Calligraphy for the hybrid and am very happy with my new ride. I've had it two and a half months and have filled the gas tank once. It seems more sturdily built than my previous vehicle (though that one was build during COVID so that might have been why it was less well-made) and though I like the exterior less than the old one and have struggled a bit to get the seat and headrest set just right, it's otherwise a joy to drive. The safety and technology features are sweet and the controls are mostly very straightforward and intuitive (things like finding the clock setting are simple, unlike other vehicle makes I've had). So far I feel like I've made the right decision and I'm hoping that feeling will last.

One month review

Overall I like the Palisade. I do have one issue. I have never had a new vehicle that had a Engine Check Light come on within 1 month. It is for the front air flap not operating properly. I am still waiting for the fix after 2 weeks.

Great vehicle, unfortunately already in the shop with an issue

I did a lot of research on vehicles before purchasing the Palisade and it was the best I saw in its class. The inside is spacious with a lot of room for the family. I love the features and it's great to drive. However, at 1000 miles it had an air flap issue that has yet to be fixed due to back ordered parts. It's been in the shop for 2 weeks with no ETA on when I'll have it back.

Hybrid Fuel Economy Disappointing

Overall the car is lovely. I enjoy the added horsepower and torque that comes with the hybrid model. However, as a Caligraphy hybrid owner, I'm disappointed to report that my cumulative fuel efficiency after 1100 miles is currently at 20.3 mpg. A far cry from the advertised 30 mpg. Regardless, I love the upscale interior, and exterior. I feel like I'm driving a stately family mover with aggressively handsome styling. I've heard the bold exterior lights are polarizing but, I'm on the side of loving them. My family loves the vehicle as well. Everyone feels like their chair is luxurious and and inviting. The storage capacity is also perfect for our family of four.

Great value!

Overall, I really enjoy the vehicle. Consider everything great, so I'll jot down the things I don't like. The key fobs should automatically adjust to the driver's profile. Fob 1 for profile 1, and 2 for 2. The current trip log should go back to the 4 hour setting instead of resetting every time the car shuts off. I would prefer the relaxation seat on the passenger side. The passenger could benefit this while someone else is driving. The rear window is very difficult to clean at a gas station because of the roof overhang. There needs to be a hitch cover for when the hitch is in place. It looks unfinished as it is.

Best SUV !!!

I waited for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid and it was worth the wait!!!! I thought I was purchasing for the fuel economy, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg! What’s not to love about this vehicle? I have comfortably carried 6 adults, two over 6’5”. The head room is amazing for adults - even in the third row. I have driven half way across the country and pulled a trailer. The handling rivaled my truck. It was stable and had enough power even in the mountains! The fold down seats are so helpful when loading up and the hardware store! The only negative is that the owners manual doesn’t fit in the glovebox, but who cares about that when there are so many other places to put it? There is the cavernous center console, and the rear under floor storage. I enjoy this vehicle and wouldn’t trade it!
