Our favorite Hyundai yet!

We’ve owned six other Hyundai’s and have always had a great experience, but this one is the best one yet. We purchased this Palisade to replace our 2024 because it has even more features, such as the Hybrid power and new body style. The exterior has a strong, bold look, and the interior features are incredible.

2026 Palisade

This is our third Palisade. The comfort has continued to get better each generation. Wind noise now matches the level of the quality of the rest of the auto. The seats still could be more comfortable. All the technology upgrades are good. One issue I have is even when selecting the appropriate user the car does not always pick up that persons phone for the wireless car play, causes another series of changing setting to accomplish it. Disappointed with the speed of the back seats movement to allow entry to the third row and now the loss of the automatic seats folding with one touch. We had the trim ring beneath the back lift gate lose paint we’re just getting ready to schedule with dealer to replace the piece. Overall the auto is continuing to improve over the previous models and we’re very happy with each of the Palisades we’ve owned.

Details matter

MPGs are lower than our kia carnival hybrid and my brother in laws grand highlander hybrid. Safety features are "dumb" smart features. For example, the lights come on instantly when I pass under tree shadows in daylight. In and out of shadows, on and off. Not safe, distracting and annoying. Backing up into the garage is very frustrating. The emergency breaks go on every time I am trying to back all the way in. So, I have to put the car into drive, reverse, ebrake, forward, reverse, ebrake, three or four times u til I'm parked. The cabin vibrates all over the car on the highway. There's more, that's enough for this survey.

My new Palisade Hybird

I have had my 2026 Hybrid 3 months and just crossed 3000 miles. We also just finished our first road round trip to North Carolina. The ride was great and very comfortable.

Love My Palisade Hybrid

Bought our Palisade Hybrid prior to our road trip to Florida for a vacation. It was fantastic. Love the ride and all of the safety features. We used the wi-fi hot spot option on the car so my wife could work on the trip down and back. The infotainment center is great. Having a huge screen to visualize backing up and parking makes it easy to operate. The Bose sound system rocks! The interior easily handled 6 adult passengers when we drove our friends around; everyone commented how much room they had even in the 3rd row. The engine has plenty of pick up for merging and passing - and even driving almost all interstates at 75mph the gas mileage was around 29...even better when driving at slower speeds. No complaints! Love the car and love how it looks.

When drivable, very nice riding vehicle.

Overall nice vehicle, love the body style and the interior design. Have a lot if concerns toward the 2nd and 3rd row seating push buttons to lower/moving these seat. Options that I paid for are gone including the options to lower/move rear seat by using the information center screen.

Great car but needs some added features.

This is a mostly comfortable vehicle and gets pretty decent fuel economy, around 26mpg driving a mixture of short and long trips and freeway and city streets. There are a couple of features that would make this the perfect vehicle. Being able to lock the doors from outside the vehicle when the engine is running would be great for those quick trips into the gas station to get a soda when we want to leave the kids safely in the car. Along those same lines, being able to lock the doors with multiple doors still open would be helpful as well, so we don't have to wait for all the kids to get out and close their doors before locking the vehicle. Some clarity about which functions are user specific and which functions stay the same across all users would also be great, trial and error seems to be the only way to figure that out. Being able to pair each key fob to a specific user also would be great. Slightly larger cup holders (like 5mm) to fit a 32oz water bottle would be helpful. Since the latest update the buttons on top of the middle seats doesn't function right, the seat gets stuck in a forward position and it's confusing to get it back. The option for a center console in the middle row would be very helpful, as that row only has 1 cup holder per seat. Another annoying feature is when the autosteer veers out of the lane it beeps at me. I would much prefer an audible notification that the auto steering is not working right and then I can take over. Another annoying feature of the autosteer is it does a lousy job of keeping the vehicle centered. When large vehicles are next to me, it seems to push the vehicle closer to them instead of further away. Also, the check engine light is on because of the front vent flaps, seems like that isn't an engine issue. The new update where we have to push the button the whole time a seat is moving is very annoying. Why can't the motor current be monitored and a spike causes it to reverse? Thats how every other auto moving unit works.

After having a 2020 Palisade and loving in, the natural next pick was the Hybrid 2026 and it has been fantastic, larger ( by a little) better fuel mileage, great safety options. Everything we could ask for new a new vehicle

serious recalls restricting family gatherings

We bought this vehicle and took it in a few weeks later because we felt the brakes were not working properly and were assured they were within limits. Then we get a terrifying notification about the back rows. Due to these serious back rows recalls, we feel unable to safely drive with small children in the car. It is unbelievable that we bought our vehicle and a month later, we were notified of very serious safety issues that prevent us from enjoying family reunions because we cannot have family members with small children in the back rows with us. We deserve so much better and are shocked at the nature of this recall. We spoke to our salesman in March once we were notified of this serious safety issues and were told no solution was yet available. We have a new vehicle that has lost important technology functionalities. These were VERY important to our buying decision. We were let to believe we were buying a SAFE and top-notch vehicle. We feel this is no longer the case. As a disabled veteran, these functions were the primary reason for upgrading from our previous Palisade which itself had recall issues as well. The solution prevents us from using the technology we most need and are now terrified of enjoying this vehicle as no family member feels safe or comfortable riding with us with our smallest family members and we completely understand and have not had an opportunity to join in family gatherings. It is unacceptable to have a vehicle for which we expected to have the latest technology functionalities work both safely and appropriately at all times. Disheartening and frustrating to no longer have these available. Had we known of these very serious issues prior to buying this vehicle in February 2026, we would have NEVER purchased it.

Excellent vehicle with minor flaw

Enjoy the ride and the technology but frustrated with the "easy access": drivers seat, which does NOT move back or forward when exiting or entering the vehicle. Dealer unable to help and Hyundai USA customer Care did not help.

Great to drive. Features need work

Overall, my Palisade Drive is great. It is a pleasure to drive, but many of thr convenience features are frustrating to set and operate. Some of the features cannot be changed or adjusted without pulling over and stopping the car.
