I am very happy with my palisade 2026. In fact, I had a palisade 2020 which I was very happy with, and I traded it for my current palisade. It's a beautiful, comfortable and reliable car. In addition, this is the first vehicle ever that I ordered it through my local dealership.

Everything on this car is exceptional, except the gas mileage.

Advertised mileage is 29/30. I am only getting 22-25, which is 20-30 percent less than advertised. Certainly a significant difference for a hybrid with a $2000 premium for the hybrid model.

2026 Hybrid

I absolutely love my 2026 Hybrid Palisade. The ride is incredibly smooth and quiet, and the hybrid system gives me excellent fuel economy without sacrificing power. It feels solid, refined, and very comfortable on long drives. The interior is beautiful — premium materials, great tech, and plenty of room for passengers and cargo. It honestly feels like a luxury SUV at a much higher price point. Best vehicle I’ve owned. Highly recommend!

Great vehicle, but drivetrain lag and slow low-gear hurtsresponse

I genuinely like my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Hybrid HTRAC from Hyundai Motor Company. It is exceptionally quiet, very comfortable, and impressively smooth for a three-row SUV. The ride quality feels premium, the cabin materials in the Calligraphy trim are excellent, all three rows are truly usable, and the technology and camera systems are strong. Overall, it delivers a refined, luxury-leaning driving experience and very good everyday comfort for family and long trips. This is our third Palisade and so far it's been the best for travels on the highway. My biggest concern is the drivetrain. Throttle response is slow when quick power is needed, especially during merges or sudden acceleration, and the transmission sometimes hesitates and hunts for the right gear at low speeds. The hybrid power transitions can also be felt more than expected. In addition, the driver eye-monitoring system is overly intrusive and should offer a proper, permanent way to disable it. Other notable drawbacks include a very serious parts-supply issue (I waited over a month for a replacement Pirelli tire after a puncture), an inefficient center console with missed storage and layout opportunities, occasional infotainment lag, overly sensitive driver-assist alerts, real-world fuel economy that does not always meet expectations, and limited availability of trim-specific parts and accessories. The Palisade is an excellent, quiet, and comfortable vehicle, but improving drivetrain responsiveness, interior space usage, driver-monitoring controls, and parts availability would significantly improve the ownership experience.

Great car! Luxury at an affordable price!

Really loving this car. It's really fun to drive, especially on those long ones. Hyundai has paid a lot of attention to detail on this one. For example, if your speed hits 80 or above, you can feel a slight tightening of the seat in the back that subtly tells you that you might be overdoing it. The massage feature is really great too. Economic, Luxury, with appropriate power

Tech is first rate and easy to use. The vehicle is well built and solid, double glass windows make it very quiet!!!! the ICE could use a bit more sound deadening, seems a bit loud, but nothing over the top. Drives like a dream, in town MPG is very good for a large vehicle, and highway MPG, even at 75MPH is pushing 30 MPG. Speeds around 60-70 will net 30 MPG !!! we love this vehicle.

Decent car, multiple customer service/dealership failures

I purchased the new 2026 Hyundai Palisade hybrid in October 2025. Upon receiving the vehicle, I noticed interior carpeting, missing installment, causing you to be able to see underneath the carpet in some areas of the vehicle. After working with Hyundai corporate for multiple months and never coming to a compromise on a viable fix/compensation, I am too exhausted to correspond anymore regarding the issue. For purchasing Hyundai’s top-of-the-line vehicle/trim, I feel like this issue is unacceptable for a $60,000+ vehicle. Hyundai corporate was never accommodating in any of the various compromises I proposed. Furthermore, the dealership that inspected the flaw agreed that tearing the entire vehicle apart to have this issue issued remedied was not something they would recommend, as they agreed the vehicle would likely never be put back together again, like it was from factory. I am very disappointed in the state of this brand new vehicle, and even more so with Hyundai corporate’s lack of consideration for any alternative resolutions. I also have numerous other interior issues with the vehicle, including lights dimming while driving/parked, and the front dash cam (one of the reasons I purchased the top trim palisade) has not worked in over three months. After having to explain to the dealership that the dash cams were not connected to any mobile networks, they finally tried to order new parts, which have been on backorder and have no arrival date in the near future. The same backorder issues are preventing the dimming lights from being remedied as well. I could have saved myself thousands of dollars for a lesser trim, or a totally different vehicle from more reputable manufacturers, and I’m very disappointed in the vehicles current function, and any resolutions proposed from corporate or dealerships.

Needs help for cold weather!

Midwestern winter mileage 22-24 mpg. Over 50 degrees mileage 30+. The vehicle rarely runs in EV mode in cold weather which sort of defeats the purpose for those of us who don't live in the South. On a recent trip from Iowa to Arizona highway mileage was 22 mpg which rose to 32 mpg as soon as the temperature reached the 50's and warmer. The windshield and rear window glass seems to have minute crystallization which is very noticeable and distracting while driving into the sun.
