This vehicle has too many options which makes it more like a job to drive. Some options are helpful, many are unnecessary. The lane correction is nothing short of dangerous. Driving down the road there was a cyclist. The roads in my area have no breakdown lane. I had to go into the other lane to pass the cyclist safely. The car kept trying to force me into the other lane where I would have hit him. I had to grip the wheel with both hands extremely tight until I passed the cyclist. When I arrived home, I immediately had that feature turned off. A simple sound would have been sufficient for this feature.

Here it describes the features, how to change settings and other information about the features. If additional information is needed there are Youtube videos available as well. ^cc

Caligraphy

The vehicle is very luxurious, and I love it. I have 3 complaints, however: 1. When it is bright outside, it is impossible to see the controls for the ac/heat, seat ac/heat and steering wheel heat. It is very dangerous. 2. Occasionally, when I am driving, the "driver assist" stops working. The car has to be turned off and restarted for the "driver assist" to start working again. Unacceptable when you're on the highway! 3. I only get 28 mpg. I was expecting a little more.

Changed Everything

After twenty years of drive off-road vehicles, and only wanting another one, I test drove the Palisade. I am sure glad I did, everything has changed. This is the best car that I have ever driven.

Wonderful vehicle

So far I’m loving my hybrid Palisade…only had it about 2 1/2 months (although it has about 7k miles😳 on it) so still learning it. I love the gas mileage and the great features!

Love My Hybrid!

So far my Palisade Hybrid has been amazing. I love the interior, the way it drives, the gas mileage, and really everything about it. I do have to say it’s currently in the repair shop for some weird second row issue causing the alarm to go off when I get out and lock the car. They think it’s has something to do with the update but they haven’t quite figured it out yet and it’s been a week. But it’s a safety issue with the second row seats and that’s important so I’m ok with their troubleshooting taking so long. They gave me a loan vehicle so I’m Ok. But do yourself a favor and test drive this car. It’s smooth, has great pick-up and I just love it.

Love my Palisade…but…

Overall, the palisade is a great vehicle: I love the new options like leg rests and don’t think I will ever buy a vehicle without the heads up display. However, the auto door unlocking sucks- it doesn’t work more than it does, requiring me to get the key out. My older palisade, I knew I could just hit the button once for the drivers door and twice for all doors. The ride is upper smooth!

Too focused on bad drivers.

The choice to reverse the location of Cruise Control switches and the audio system switches is annoying, but eventually we can get used to it. But most annoying is the assumption that anyone who buys this vehicle is a bad and inattentive driver. I spent most of my time early on turning off all the idiot notifications that clearly are for people who don't pay any attention to their driving responsibilities. And then after every "update" I have to do it again. And then there are the seats. Who wants the driver's seat to push you forward and up, thus making it harder to get out of the car when you open the door? Certainly not me. At over 6 feet tall, I already find the driver's seat confining and hard to position comfortably for the long drives we usually take. But the seat cramming me up to the steering wheel AND pushing me farther from the doorsill is really annoying. When I push the seat control "up", I want to get some leg room. Instead the seat moves up and forward (with no "forward" asked for), thus pushing me into the steering wheel. If I wanted to move the seat forward, I would use that control.
