A lot of car for a reasonable price...

Never thought I'd buy a Hyundai, but the Palisade Calligraphy edition made me a believer. All the bells and whistles of a car $20k higher in price, without the overpriced operating costs.

interior light

There is a glitch in the system when it comes to the interior lights. When you open the door they come on so you can see to get into the car, but then it takes them anywhere between 2- 6 minutes to turn off. Sometimes when I am just driving down the road the lights will randomly turn one, but because there is no "code" for the lights when this happens no one can figure out how to fix the problem. I have brought this to 3 different Hyundai dealerships.

Palisade a Good Buy

I've been driving my Palisade for 2 and 1/2 years now. I found it to be a very dependable and very comfortable vehicle to drive. When I purchased it I was not aware of the many features that it offered. Many of these features are found in much more expensive vehicles. The car handles well on the road, gets a reasonable gas mileage average, and does the job very well. With the tow package I have used it to pull my RV trailer as well as trailers in general and find its performance exemplary. I would definitely recommend it as a choice to be considered.

The worst experience I have ever had with a vehicle and dealership!!!

Vehicle had constant problems the whole time we had it. It stayed in the shop most of the time. The dealer charged us $1,000 for an extended warrantee without telling us. When I questioned this a week after the purchase, the finance manager said we do that on all sales. EXCUSE ME??? They said that we would get a loaner car if ours had to be in the shop. THEY LIED!!! The first 3 times it was in the shop (Dealers) for an extended period, they said no loaner was available. They finally corrected some problems by replacing Module 8. After about 2 weeks, we started getting a lot more errors on the console. The speedometer would stop working. The cluster would go blank. The headlights would stop working out on the highway at night. There were many other problems SO, we just got rid of it. You should all be ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES for putting Seniors in their mid seventies through such a nightmare. If the vehicle would have performed as it should and the Dealership had been honest and accommodating, it could have been a wonderful car and a wonderful experience.

Love it! Wish I wouldn’t have traded it in.

I loved my Palisade! One thing I wish it had was the capability to move the captains chair forward with an infant car seat in them so someone could climb in the back easier. The number one thing I wish it had was the ability to do keyless entry when you walk up to the back doors. As a mom carrying a car seat, diaper bag, and who knows what else it would be super beneficial to not have to go to the front doors first to unlock them put the kids in the back. Another plus would be just a tad more room for more space in the front for tall people when having rear facing car seats in the back.

Potential to be 5 stars

The vehicle is wonderful in space and comfort. Pros: Run smooth, space, look, and comfortable. Cons: wipers are horrible in heavy rain. The wireless android/airplay was removed so going back to cable was horrible. Cabin sound in highway speeds is kind of bad. It always sound has a window is open.
