Great vehicle

Forced to purchased new SUV when my 2003 Acura MDX was totaled by someone that hit me in 2023. The Palisade has been a perfect replacement with lots of safety features, nice ride, plenty of room for the 3 grandkids, and taking friends on hikes. There is also room for 3 foldable kayaks and the gear in the back!

Overall good experience with one exception

We have had a great experience with our Palisade and it has been perfect for our fam of 5. The only issue we find is that driving through a pothole or even gravel, the brakes must be pumped several times because otherwise they do not work . I have reported this to Hyundaii and have also seen youtube videos of people having this same experience where brakes do no work when driving through a pothole. I figured out that a way around this is to pump brakes several times but others may not realize and it can become a hazard.

Excellent Features / Way Too Manny Annoying "Warnings"

Excellent tech, comfortable, classy and great engine. However, the most annoying car alarms. Every 10 minutes on an expressway, it bings and tells me to take a break. When I drop someone off, they leave the car, the seat belt alarm goes off for like 2 minutes. Nothing will work until you click the "Ok" but after reading their disclaimer. How is it safe, when you hands free device won't work to click a ridiculous disclaimer every single time? The nanny stuff in this car has ruined it.

Decent, but needs some attention

Overall, it's not a bad SUV. But I'm disappointed in several aspects of the car that keep me from being able to sing its praises. I'm not sure that I'll buy another one when the time comes; I might try a different brand. I had a Kia before, and it was a better SUV. I've also had other brands' cars, and think I'll go back to one of them next time.

Crap suv

This vehicle has been a lemon. I have so many problems with the AC not cooling. I’ve already had to get my window shield replaced because the automatic windshield wipers wouldn’t work had a factory issue two months after owning it.

Good vehicle...dealerships not helpful. Rick Case needs to be expanded to be able to handle the amount of people who are seeking assistance. Seem to over-book for service. Long wait times.

Regretting it

Already, actively shopping for another car to replace my Palisade due to some of the worst service experiences from the original dealership, and overall unreliable car. Already replaced rear coupler and differential for known issue, but not as recall. I myself had to research after started hearing dragging noise from the back of the vehicle. Windshield gets star crack easily and wishing that I saw all the lawsuits regarding this issue before buying. Had few minutes of small hail outside of a grocery store and small dents are all over the body. My friend’s car, Honda Pilot, parked next to mine has nothing though.

Love the car but hard time getting a windshield replacement

I love my car and it has been great on several trips. However we seem to get a chip in the windshield. This happened on one trip then the next a buzzard hit my windshield on driver side. It made a spider crack beyond anything that I have seen. It has been over 4 months and yet not windshield It seems it is on backorder.
