It’s a great vehicle

Love the Palisade. Only con is I wish the leather seats didn’t have the tiny holes in them. Makes in hard to clean.

Great tech, but too many beeps and warning sounds

We owned our Palisade for 2 1/2 years. We originally bought it for my wife to have a larger vehicle to drive around, assuming we would keep it long-term. But during this time, the beeps and warnings made her not want to drive it. Occasionally it would seem like some tech features didn't work how she expected them. So eventually, we traded it in on something else.

Shake on rough road at stops.

If I'm driving on a rough road and come to a stop, the vehicle shakes very bad and does not stop as quick as it should. I've had it into the dealership a few times for this issue.

Pallisade owner review

I love most of the features of the car and the drivability. I’m six foot tall and it’s comfortable for me and my passengers. I only have one major complaint with the car and one minor one. The major one is, in fact, MAJOR … the white paint that I even paid extra for, has a known defect and peels off of the car. I have had to have all the doors repainted (fortunately under warranty). To have parts repainted on a two year old car is disturbing for several reasons. I had to be without the vehicle for a week and now I have to worry whether the paint will age differently than the rest of the vehicle. The second, minor, thing is that the steering wheel is heated, which is a good thing, however, instead of the wheel being one material, it has metal areas that get much colder than the rest of the wheel and take much longer to warm up on cold days. It’s frustrating to have a heated steering wheel that is actually colder than if it were unheated and leather etc.

Seats belts unlatching & brakes not working properly on uneven ground

Seat belt investigation by NHTSA and brakes acting abnormally on uneven ground is terrifying. Look at complaints filed with NHTSA for more information.

This the best vehicle I ever have. I have been a Hyundai owner since 1995 and without a doubt this the best Hyundai vehicle that I have owned. Quality and luxury combined with utility are words that describe this vehicle.

2023 Hyundai Palisade - Calligraphy 30K Impressions

Overall - great value for the money. Lots of room for passengers or cargo, lots of technology. So far has held up well, only requiring periodic maintenace. Very good gas mileage, around 25-26 mpg.

Good SUV , lacking a few basic features.

Why doesn't it have wireless Apple Carplay! Why for such an expensive car, doesn't it have power folding side mirrors. I had a 2020 Telluride and the power folding mirrors were standard! It took 2023 model over 3 years to have a towing wiring harness & towing hitch available?

Hyundai Palisade: Luxury, Space & Style—All in One!

At first, my experience with the Palisade wasn’t perfect, but once those early hiccups were sorted out, this SUV really started to shine. The interior is very comfortable, which makes long drives way more enjoyable. It has enough space to accommodate my family AND storage. The style of the Palisade is its best feature! It really stands out as a luxurious SUV. Despite the initial issues, I have come to love everything this SUV has to offer.
