3 year palisade review

The rear windows are foggy, no recall or compensation in anyway. Very frustrated about that. The vehicle rides very well. Love the features for the cost of the vehicle. Palisades are a little pricey now but at the time it was perfect. We chose the palisade over a Lincoln nautilus and a Cadillac XT. The Palisade beat both of them in price vs features. Also the palisade had a much better ride. Aside from the obvious Hyundai fault foggy rear windows the only real complaint, and this is very minimal, is no wireless CarPlay. Joe holland has been an awesome dealership to work with. Love the warranty. (Just wish it covered the rear windows) My in laws bought a Hyundai because of our recommendation.

Good vehicle

I like the vehicle very well. However, I have had an ongoing problem with the transmission. Although always putting the car in 'D' for drive, at slow speeds the car occasionally shifts to 'manual' mode where it is stuck in a low gear (1 or 2, it shows the gear on the display). I then have to push the 'D' button to get it back to 'normal' usage. I have had it in for service several times but they cannot find anything wrong. It is sporadic and can go weeks without a problem. Just the other day it did it 4 times in a 10 minute trip in town. If not for this problem I would have given it 5 stars.

decent car for the money. Comfortable ride for all passengers, however there's not enough space for all the passengers' bags. This is a car for day use, not overnight trips

We love our Palisade. Great family travel vehicle. Easy to get in and to the third row seats if needed. Plenty of storage space for moving a load. Rides smooth and loaded with what other brands offer as options. Warranty is superior also. Do it, you will love it.

I have a Palisade SEL with premium package. If the sunroof was larger to cover the back seats as well it would be even better. I would also love it if the heated seats and steering wheel remained on each time you turn on the car if it was set that way on previous car starts.

Love our Pally! Would have been a 5 star but!

Powerful engine, good handling for an SUV with the right tires, quiet smooth ride, suspension is just right. Legroom is stellar for a family of 4 all over 6’x keep that up. Only wish standard seat depth was deeper. Draw back, some finishes/surfaces in the interior are weak/thin. The trim around the cup holders-the fake metal in the XRT has worn off just by putting a cup in and out. Also, on the top of the dash and doors the finish on the plastic is soft and easily scratches. Paint finish outside is good, trim fittings outside are tight and inside too. But, we do have a clunk in rear back to which cause cannot be determined. Over all we love it and would consider a trade in if we knew if a trim level with better Durable finishes. The new design is tempting.
