My 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Night Edition

I feel this is a very safe vehicle. It rides so smooth, and I love all the extra features that it has. It has a lot of room and is comfortable to drive especially on long distances.

Overall a Great Car

I like everything but the limited time (10Minutes) on the app engine start. The key start feature is the worst I've had and I've had a rav4 and a ford edge. If you turn if on and get anywhere near it with the key it'll turn off. This is a nightmare when trying to put the kids in and load up the car in hot weather. You also can't leave the car on and walk away with the key and LOCK the doors. Like if I need to run inside to grab something, I leave to leave the keys in the car, unlocked.... the edge, I could take the key out, while the car was on, and lock it. It would stay on for 15min or so. This is really my only complaint about the car. Besides the weird locking/unlocking things it does. I'll unlock my car from in the house to get something out and as soon as I get close it'll lock itself.

Palisade Review

I enjoy the vehicle but it needs an option for a larger engine - V-8. I’ve owned several other SUV’s with V-8’s and they were great. My Palisade is good but when I’m on the interstate and need to move this thing can’t get out of its own way. Sometimes I also have slow, sluggish starts when trying to accelerate from stop or traffic lights. I feel a larger engine would alleviate a lot of this..:.its like the engine power is too small for the vehicle.

Best SUV I’ve had

I love this SUV and it’s been an amazing car. The only flaw which comes with the territory is the trunk space is small with the third row seating but it’s to be expected.

99% happy

I am going to need to get a different car though . I have 2 sets of twin grandkids under 3 years old . I can fit all the seats but one of them in the third row has no tear her or hooks that seat can snap into like the other seats . There are two test hers but 2 seats can not fit next to each other there . So I will be trading in when lease is up .

Dangerous

I’ve had 2 episodes with my brakes malfunctioning. The first time caused an accident causing some damage to my car. I went directly to the dealership and they couldn’t find the issue. It just happened again, luckily no accident this time. Again I went directly to the dealership and spoke with the service manager. He remembered the situation with my car and told me he didn’t have a loaner at this time and probably would have one on Tuesday but he would talk to Hyundai and call me Monday (yesterday) no matter what. I hadn’t heard back so I called at 6pm and left a message. I still haven’t received a call back.

Matte coating on chrome areas of front peeling. Looks bad, only 7k miles and 7 months after purchase, crappy peeling coating on chrome peeling
