It's ok

Paint is weak, the lane control weaves down the road, roadside walls in curves are an issue for cruise control, some safety controls are o er done.

OK, not great

Considering we bought the absolute top of the line Palisade model with all the bells and whistles, I'd have to say we have not been blown away with the overall vehicle experience. We are pretty much used to it now, but a lot of the user interface is not as user friendly as it should be. E.G. having to plug your iphone in to the USB port to get it to work, instead of through the bluetooth (when other vehicles do have that functionality?) is a bit annoying. And trying to get the radio to work while also using carplay for the gps is NOT straight forward. And trying to figure out how to get the rear doors to unlock using the outside door handle function is inefficient or glitchy. 360 view when backing up is not NEARLY as good as what we had in our 2019 Chevy Traverse. Really cant use the side view at all, it is so distorted. And - this one is very minor, but typical of what I am talking about: the vehicle that shows up in the 360 degree view when backing up etc., shows a white vehicle? Ours is black; that is SUCH an easy coding change, and they didn't even do that... And it took 21 months to come up with the fix to the safety recall on the seat airbags? And apparently many Palisades owners have a problem with the suspension also? And, the free service for 3 yrs is basically an oil change, and tire rotation (but not balancing?) And to fix a tire with a nail in it is $40 on the original tires (pretty sure Discount Tire would have done it for free for me, and I did not buy the tires from them)... Really, the free service benefit is just a way to get the vehicle into the dealership to tell you you need to do $700 worth of "recommended maintenance", most of which should have either been included in the 3 yr service for free, or is 3-7 times what it would cost to do it yourself (changing engine air and Cabin AC filters), pouring some fuel or oil treatment fluid into the fuel tank or oil fill cap, "battery service"(?) which if it is important, should have been done as part of the regular 3 yr servicing. Probably the last new car I'll buy, and definitely the last car from Big Star dealers. 5 hours to get the car bought, with lost paperwork and back and forth with the sales manager.... It's a shame because my 2012 Genesis has been excellent, which is the main reason I went with the Palisades this time...

Vehicle in service for 6 months

My 2024 Palisade has been in service since December. Between the rear shocks/mounts going out in December and the 2 open recalls, I have not driven my vehicle since. It has been at the dealership sitting since January. The parts for the shocks/mounts have been on backorder the entire time and the open recalls (air bags and seat belt issues) have not had parts available in the US. I was originally told the shocks/mounts would be available in 30 days, but at this point it has been 6 months since I drove it, while still paying my car note. For being a new vehicle when purchased, I expected better. This has been an extremely frustrating situation.

Grew to love it

Traded in a 2002 chev blazer 4x4 4 dr... loved this vehicle which was #?? in a long line of chevy's. Intended to buy another chev but saw this vehicle 1st Really like the light grey interior and they say vehicle is blue... I think I actually saw that once.

Warrantee is a mess

I've waited over 4 months since the seatbelt recall. When I went in and BOUGHT new tires and to have another recall fixed. The said my shocks were leaking and needed replaced. They said they could not fix them until the seat belts fix arrived. Four months later I'm driving on shocks that feel like i'm driving a lumber wagon. VERY FRUSTRATED!!

Love my Palisade but Need to Add This ….

The only drawback on my Palisade is the exterior mirrors - why don’t you have an option to automatically turn in the exterior mirrors. Definitely a must have for tight parking and car washes.

More than a family vehicle

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade Limited is not only a great family care but the best to take on a road trip! It offers comfort including heated & cooled seated for not just the front seats but the middle as well! It is a 7 seater with the middle offering just 2 seats. As a mom I love this option due to getting around easily when I have my niece's & nephews as well & all the kids are piling in at once. The 3rd seats fold up nicely when not in use & when we use them they offer leg room (more than other vehicles I looked at & a big plus for someone that is tall & my 6 year old is also tall. All the technical stuff is a plus. My favorite has to be the driving assistant which I use more on road trips along with cruise control. The only thing I wish was different is the android auto. I wish it connected wireless instead of USB. I got this brand new in 2024 & we are now in 2026. The only issue I have had is the traction control started to not work. The dealership took it in & had it a month & was finally able to fix the issue. Also better tires to start with would be nice given what we pay but still overall this is a wonderful vehicle for my family.

great value for a car of this class

I have a 2024 Palisade Calligraphy, so far the vehicle has been enjoyable to run. We have approximately 35k on it and it still runs great. Of note is we looked for a vehicle with the amenities this has and would have required going with Lexus, Mercedes, Cadillac, or Lincoln for similar options at a 20-50k increase in price. The only downside is we have had some minor electrical gremlins that where covered under warranty and we did buy the added electrical warranty for 10 years. Other than than that is everything we were looking for.

2024 Calligraphy

This was the last year with the V6, so I am told. This is a great car. I think I payed too much for it. I think all in I was around $51.5K. Still a great car, and I am glad I have it. I drive a lot, and this car is a dream car to drive. This version has everything on it, and I highly recommend this car.

Palisade XRT

This is my 2nd Palisade and wish I had the garage opener like my first one did. Also wished the vehicle had a CD player, most vehicles are relying solely on Bluetooth and mp3 and so forth but some folks still want to play their CDs. It can be a bit noisy at times but otherwise a good vehicle.
