An almost perfect car!

My complaints are few. 2nd row seating is too low for window viewing. The seatbelt LOCK is in an awkward place and hard to find to lock. The feature that shuts the car off and on at stops and lights is not smooth and has a rough feel for the passengers. Otherwise, this is a beautiful car inside and out. I may even purchase it since I now lease it.

Was a lemon when we bought it and we didn’t know it.

Was a lemon when we bought it. After having the vehicle a few months we relized we didn’t have backup lights.The shop kept our car for more than a month.Had to pull the entire inside of the car apart to rewire the inside.Now see why we are upset. We thought we were buying a new car to enjoy.

Great choice

We purchased our Palisade a little over a year ago. We wanted something smaller and easy to maneuver, to replace one of our trucks. We looked at all the brands, and the Palisade had so much to offer. The styling inside and out is very rich looking. There’s plenty of room inside for passengers and cargo. There are certain features that aren’t available on our Caligraphy model, which kind of surprised us since this is the top of the line model, example, you have to plug in to use CarPlay and the steering wheel doesn’t move out of the way when you enter and exit the vehicle like our F250 Platinum does. We took it on a 5000 mile vacation from Florida to Canada and back. It was comfortable and performed great, I do like the adaptive cruise control. I do notice a little stutter sometimes when I come out of a turn. All in all were very happy with our purchase, especially with the five year warranty, and three year maintenance warranty.

My vehicle

I’m satisfied with my vehicle. The only quirk is I’m not used to is the doors not unlocking when I turn off the vehicle. I know there’s a setting to change that but I’ll just live with it.

Could be great but isn’t

Loaded with features. Very comfortable. As model year 6 of the 2020 design the “bugs” should have been worked out but the recall letters keep coming. Have been waiting nearly 2 years for the seat belt latch replacement.

Battery died before I had it for 1 year. Could be a little more leg room for tall (6'5" +) drivers. I have some issues getting my leg under the steering wheel.

Undiagnosable problem less than 1 year in.

Unfortunately our 2025 Palisade, bought brand new from the dealer, has an undiagnosable idling issue that causes it to stall out intermittently. This occurs even when the engine auto off/on is engaged.

I Love My Palisade BUT....

I love the body of my 2025 Calligraphy Palisade, all the technology that is included, the smooth ride, the roominess of the vehicle, the Emerald Green color, and the warranty. But I have been experiencing an issue where the vehicle quietly dies (stops) and all lights come on as if in auxiliary mode. This is a safety issue which makes me hesitant to drive my vehicle. I reported this to Hyundai Customer Care. However, since the technicians haven't been apple to duplicate the issue, there's nothing that can be done. This is an active case.
