Lots of Regret

This is Hyundai's flagship vehicle. We bought the calligraphy trim and (for the price) expected this to be a true luxury car experience. We could not have been more wrong. So many little things added up to ruin the experience. The infotainment is a joke and CarPlay requires a cord. For a nearly $60k purchase we expected more fit and finish. lDon't believe the hype. Hyundai has lost all of the energy and spirit that helped it move from an upstart to a major player. Their new cars and even worse that this. Bland, boring, and uninspired.

Reliable and Comfortable

I have owned my 2025 Palisade Limited for 14 months and it has never given me any problems. It has a comfortable and spacious interior, the exterior is well designed. It rides nice, and has plenty of power based on it's engine, size and weight. It's feature are many and I'm still learning everything it does by just playing around mostly and by reading the manual a little. The sound system is good and I was really surprised by the steering assist, it works well enough that I am able to use it and actually eat a sandwich on a long trip without worrying if I have my hands off the wheel for 10-15 seconds to take a bite, it's almost like a self driving vehicle. The blind spot monitors and warning system are second to none based on my experience in other vehicles I have driven.

Good, but not great

I purchased our 25 Palisade a few months back because our old 14 Santa Fe Sport finally went after 10 years. Over all the car is really good. It’s exactly what we wanted space wise and have actually been using the 3rd row more frequently than we expected. But it’s far from perfect. My complaints are as fallows. For the model above basic, it would be nice to have memory seats. Really, at this point that should be standard. Second, the steering is disconnected. Like while I'm turning it doesn’t always feel like I have a great sense of where the car is or wants to go. Third, I absolutely HATE with a literal passion the headlights. Yes they are extremely bright, but the cut off line is extremely low and i loathe the V shaped projection that they have for oncoming traffic. Fourth, it would be nice to have a live MPG tracker. Maybe the high trims have it, but again, make it standard.
