A few tweaks needed

So far so good on my palisade. However there are a few irritations that are bothersome enough that had I known before I bought the car, it would have changed my mind. The BIGGEST ISSUE is no car play over Bluetooth. I specifically asked my salesman and he told me yes, it has CarPlay over Bluetooth. But that was a lie. For a luxury vehicle, I should not need to connect my phone via cord or 3rd party dongle to use CarPlay. I rent lower class cars for work and THEY have the feature. I’ve tried using the car’s internal navigation and its awful - difficult to search a business and clunky to use. I have seriously considered switching cars because of the hassle. Next, the keyless entry is slow to respond and I’ve had to physically dig my keys from my bag to get in the car. My family has joked that if this was a getaway car, we’d get caught because we can’t get into the car quick enough (or if someone was chasing me). This is after replacing batteries in the key fob. Finally, the reaction to unlocking all the doors after putting the car in park is too slow. It’s inconvenient.

Gargantuous

Nice vehicle. Good value for money. Transmission is slow/sluggish on downshifts. Does not track particularly well on highway. Delivered with improper alignment?

Al’s palisade

Storage in the doors is to small compared to other vehicles I owned. Love the 6 cylinder engine. I think the tires are to small for the car. There could be better storage spots in the back behind the sears on the sides of the car. For some reason and I can’t explain why but when I go through the car wash the water does not get removed. The turning radius is not very good.

New Vehicle Review

Overall, I am happy with my new vehicle. The car handles well, accelerates nicely, and is an enjoyable ride. However, the driver's seat is very uncomfortable, which seems to be an ongoing problem with Hyundais, this being my seventh Hyundai. The stereo is lackluster, and the car seat heating and cooling are often not sufficient on cold or hot days.

Overall very pleased. The acceleration at slow speeds is not smooth. The driver assist seat lowering when the vehicle is turned off, the seat doesn't lower enough for a tall person and I have to manually lower the seat further or my head will hit the top of the door frame when I get in the next time. Real pain...
