I Love the Palisade

This is my second Palisade. The comfort level and smoothness of the Palisade is amazing. I thought I had an issue with the way the transmission reacted on the freeway and then I decided to give smart mode a chance and I hated it at first. Now it is so responsive and the acceleration is awesome.

My review

There are many features I enjoy about my 2025 Palisade. I do have several suggestions for improvements; The second row of seats should fold up from the back to allow easier access for passengers to get to the third row of seats. The current flip seat is good for teenagers and younger, but adults have a lot of difficulty getting in and out. The windshield wiper blades do not flip up when cleaning the windshield. The storage space and access from the front seats is under utilized. The big empty space may be good for a purse, but storing odds and ends are just dumped into the center console bin. That space needs to be reviewed and redesigned to be more accessible and useful for the driver and other front seat passenger. The rear camera lens is always needing to be manually cleaned before I get into my car. Can you put a spray nozzle there just like on the windows so I can press a button and rinse the camera?

Nice vehicle

It’s a very nice vehicle. I wish it didn’t have the automatic shut off feature and the windshield wiper are terrible (so were my Tellurides, compared to my Chevys). I like the storage in the front floor board and the massage feature. I wish the cup holder in the driver and passenger door were larger. Only a bottle of water fits. I love the color scheme, and 3 rows of seating. I also like that you can customize your interior lights.

Love driving this vehicle!

It has a great turning radius…as good as my 4-door sedan. I love all of the safety features and cameras. No more blind spots! The tech is great with lane assist and cruise control. Drivers seat has a massage function and front and mid seats have heat and cooling. The price point was tens of thousands lower than many other brands for the same features. I just love this vehicle and highly recommend looking into one if you are looking for a 7-seater luxury SUV.

Great vehicle except for a TCM failure

Great vehicle to travel in. All the bells and whistles and hauls all my gear and tows my boat. Wife would prefer a folding arm rest for her left arm to be more comfortable. TCM failed 3.5 hrs from the nearest dealer. Hyundai sent the wrong part twice so I lost the vehicle for 2 weeks.

A really nice vehicle

The Hyundai is my Wife's vehicle which I drive as often as she lets me. Both of us really enjoy the ease of driving the vehicle and all of the bells and whistles that came with it. We have driven it on several trips and find it to be a excellent "highway" vehicle. It gets really good mileage and rides extremely well. A very comfortable ride for a long trip. The only negative thing I can say about it, which I not addressed with the Dealership yet is that the paint on the drivers side rear door is flaking off. But I feel that the Dealership will address this and correct it to our satisfaction.

Nice ride; design and ergonomics flaws

We owned a 2023 Palisade and loved it. Unfortunately, in a push to "improve" certain functions and features, the designers and engineers fell far short of that objective, which should always be, at least, the default goal when continuing essentially the same model configuration in subsequent years. They're actually too extensive to detail here, but if you really care about honest, informed feedback, Hyundai, I'm here to discuss.
