98% Perfect

After 18 months of driving our new Palisade I can find only one single complaint which I have found no solution for. The quality of the interior plastic panels is highly inferior for an automobile this refined. Anything hard coming into moving contact with the door or wall panels will show the minimum depth color of the plastic scratched and an almost white appearance left looking terrible. Vinyl cleaners and protectors will not cover or remove this. I traded in a seven year old Lincoln vehicle and there were almost zero uncovered dings to its interior nor was it a problem on our three previous new Hyundai vehicles.

Disappointing. Nothing special

Vehicle is unreliable. I drive 100 miles per day on average and I am never sure I am going to make it to my destination. Causeway Hyundai in Manahawkin NJ is the worst car dealership maybe in the world

I’m hesitant

Acceleration does not happen quickly and does not make driving seamless. It self locks constantly. There are so many sensors that I have no control over. Automatic parking brake goes on constantly. There is too much of a delay trying to put it in gear.

Love every inch of my Pallisade

The cargo room is unmatched in this car. I can carry tons of gear for my business. The UI of the driver's seat has all the controls right where I want them to be. My palisade straddles the line of Work Truck/and Classy Family SUV perfectly.

Very pleased overall with the vehicle. There is some road noise at the back passenger window that is a little annoying when on an Interstate. Everything else is as good as it can get.

I do have concerns about my vehicle. I am getting some electronic messages on the console that do not make sense. These messages show alerts regarding safety equipment that pop up randomly.

Safety concerns

We were notified of a recall on the seatbelt latch. We have been trying for months to get this resolved but Ziegler Hyundai keeps telling us they haven’t received the replacement parts. It has been from the time we received the recall notice to now. So that should tell you how long we’ve been waiting. Safety is paramount.

High Value Luxury, Needs HP

I owned a Sorento for 12 years with no issues, and I bought the Palisade because even a decade later, the value proposition still holds. All of the features of the luxury brands for $20k less. The car is roomy enough for 4 six footers plus three others. It performs well, handling predictably, with a quiet cabin. I drove it from NY to WI with very little fatigue. The heads up display has prevented speeding tickets. My issues with the car are few. The rear and side collision avoidance sensors are a little too aggressive. The premium sound system lacks power and bass response. The power for sudden acceleration is not as good as it needs to be. If you floor it, the torque comes on suddenly, not smoothly. I have the 6 cyl non turbo, non hybrid. The hybrid has 30 hp more which I presume is available at lower speeds and the car needs it. The memory seats for multiple drivers are not integrated with the dashboard personalization features. The Calligraphy Midnight Edition features a black grille which chips easily. Overall a comfortable, quiet, luxurious vehicle. I would buy another.

Car in the shop.

Disappointed that the vehicle broke down and having to wait until weekday to have it inspected. Less than 6 months. Hopefully i will be able to get a loaners car until repairs are done.
