Lots of bells and whistles

So far it's been a reliable SUV with a third row which I needed for kids. Gas mileage is around 23 mpg which, for six cylinders and a car this size is pretty good. It has a lot of bells and whistles for the money. My one complaint is that the black paint on the grill is chipping and peeling.

Could Have Been Excellant

Great ride, roomy, good aceleration, lots of extra luxury features. But Hyundai cheaped out on front grill, trim & bumper paint job on night edition. Appears to be silver plastic painted over with black paint. Flakes off & chips too easily.

Almost perfect just needs a couple tweaks

My 2025 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy edition is an amazing car with all the bells and whistles. Some you need and some not as much. I absolutely love the projection view of the dash so you don’t have to look down for anything. My problem is remembering it’s there. Sometimes there are too many “notifications” and if you are driving in an unfamiliar area, possibly in bad weather sometimes it can be confusing. I love the hot/cool seats and the massage option. I wish the massage was a little more powerful but it is still a great feature during long drives. I wish the home screen console could be personalized. I would love to “decorate” for special occasions and holidays. I also wish I could have had a programmable passenger seat so my son and husband could save their own settings to save on some arguments. I also really wish that you can start the car, lock it, and walk away. Yes I can start it on my app or remote key fob but sometimes I leave the car to pick up errands and my son prefers to stay in the vehicle. But if I lock it and he moves it sets off the alarm. And let me let it run longer when remote starting. Those cold mornings the snow/frost barely gets touched by the defroster before the car shuts off.

Side mirrors lack automation

I’m very displeased at the fact that my palisade did not come with automatic folding side mirrors….i have to manually fold them in order to avoid damaging the mirror assembly each time I go inside my garage….this feature should be standard on all vehicles and not just the higher end models. This was a total miss Hyundai :(

So Disappointed

After a year and a half it's been nothing but recalls after recalls. Seatbelts being replaced for not latching correctly, abs brakes, back glass shattering and failing side impact crash ratings, and the cheap fix of just installing window tint. Hyundai corporate wouldn't help me get out of an unsafe vehicle and into another, making me responsible for the negative equity. The rear shocks are going out and it just turned 18,000 miles. I made a huge mistake. I can't wait until my lease is over and get anything else besides Hyundai or Kia.

Great vehicle minus serious recalls and delinquent manufacturer

The tech in this vehicle is like luxury line vehicles. However, the serious recalls that then were not accessible to the end user to be fixed in a timely manner made me absolutely despise Hyundai and the car. Would not recommend if you are a mom with kids. I have three under three and think the lack of importance by the manufacturer was absolutely disgusting when you are talking about seatbelt and rear window safety.
