Return to Mediocrity

I pushed my wife to purchase a Hyundai based upon my experience with a 2014 Hyundai Azera. I had that car for 10 years and never had an issue. It was a well built car, with an amazing paint job and no issues. It seems your focus on quality paid off from 2013 to 2021 but has since culminated in what I consider a return to mediocrity. Our Palisade rides poorly, has continues recalls and the engine makes alot of noise. I believe you have a lifter issue in the engine as it should not make that much noise. Frankly, I would not purchase a Hyundai again based on this experience.

Overall, good vehicle for the price

This vehicle is a very comfortable ride. It has plenty of features and lots of space to fit everyone comfortably even in the third row. There are some things that I do not like however such as, the annoying, long beep that goes off whenever you exit the car while leaving it running and you have the car key with you, the vehicle feels underpowered still and when you try and accelerate quickly, there is a delay before the vehicle accelerates and the seatbelt indicator goes off almost immediately when the vehicle starts to move which is annoying as opposed to giving a couple seconds delay before going off and the fact that you cannot turn the proximity sensor off all the way when using cruise control which makes me not want to use the cruise control at all.

Fantastic vehicle

This is a great vehicle. While my wife is the main user, I find the Palisade a very smooth and easy drive. Setting the cruise control is very easy. Just the push of a button.

Recalls

I have 2 recalls on my 2025 Palisade each time I’ve gone to schedule my oil change I’ve asked for them to be done and the parts are always on back order and when I bought it brand new Wi just 1 mile on it I requested to be added to the contract I MUST HAVE A LOANER vehicle of the same size they don’t have any available and make me waste 2 hours of my day for a flipping oil change I can’t take it to a local oil change place because they can’t reset the information to go to my phone apparently that’s a ONLY DEALERSHIP CAN DO it ISSUE! Not really pleased with it and should’ve bought an American MADE vehicle

Better than I thought

After a year and a half, I'm overall very happy with my vehicle. I appreciate the physical buttons and knobs instead of having to go through the infotainment system for tasks like seat ventilation, temperature control, etc... It's been trouble free mechanical, but has a rattles/squeaks. The engine has plenty of power and the transmission works well. One feature I really like is the automatic emergency brake will auto disengage without having to put the seat belt on. This is handy when moving the car from the driveway to the street.

Good overall vehicle with comfortable ride and safety being on the top of the list. Stereo system is sub par however. Maybe more speakers would help with this. The grill being plastic chipped very easily from dust/dirt on the roadway. Actually within the first week of ownership. Windshield glass thinner? Received a chip the 2nd day from a rock.

Great vehicle but seating needs improvement

We have very good gas mileage with this vehicle. The interior is spacious and very modern. Everything about the vehicle is well designed except for seating comfort. The seats are too hard, and for extended driving, the lack of softer seating takes a toll.
