Great car!

Cannot be happier with the quality of this car. Smoot ride. Quality build. Have not found any defects yet (a 500 miles). A lot of car for maybe $20,000 less than a similar car from Acura or Lexus. I have driven Acura vehicles for decades. Last one was a 2020 MDX SH-AWD, but when I looked for a new one it was ridiculously expensive. Besides, recent experience showed me that the build-quality had fallen off quite a bit. Lexus vehicles were similarly overpriced. This car has so many "bells and whistles" I may never use them all. Crazy good vehicle to take grand kids out and about when they visit. Third row seat can actually be used. Not so with the MDX and some other three-row vehicles I looked at before buying.

Love the ride, the features, but it's a lemon.

I gave this a 2 star because I do love all the features that come on this car. This is a very smooth ride without going into the luxury brands, however, I bought my Palisade new at the end of March 2026, it is now June 2026 and it has been into the shop 3 times. Check engine light flashes but no error code. Wheel bearing had to be replaced. It wouldn't maintain speed while in cruise. After that stopped, the check engine light came on and did send an error code. Then the engine light went off. That ended up with fears of needing an new transmission but fortunately only a sensor needed replaced. The front bumper and wiring harness had to be replaced and ever since then my phone does not connect correctly. I had a Kia before this with engine issues, so, while I do love you can get a luxury feel for less of a price money wise, the frustration cost is very significant. We're looking at getting rid of the lemon and going into a luxury vehicle. We have looked into the lemon laws in my state, but when researching how Hyundai operates, they do not replace vehicles, only buys back, and tries to cheat you out of dealer fees, taxes, etc, and it is recommended to get a lemon law attorney. I was hoping that Hyundai was better than that, but apparently not.

Has had problems since I bought it

Since I bought the car 5 months ago, it has been in and out of the mechanic shop. An electrical problem that could cause a fire, and now a button that doesn't the third row passengers to get out of the car. It has been a month a,nd they can't figure out how to fix it. So my car has been in the shop for over a month in total.

Full Transmission Replacement After 4 Days!

I would not recommend. You spend a ton of money only to end up a vehicle that needed to have a full transmission repair just 4 days of having a brand new car. Dealership had my car for 20 days doing repairs which means I was out of my brand new car and I'm still being made to be responsible for the lease payment for that month smh. Then once I get the car back, three days later the braking system failed and I had to once again return it to the dealership. I have asked to be placed in another vehicle altogether and I keep getting the runaround! Not cool. Save yourself the trouble and buy elsewhere

All has been as advertised with my Palisade. My only complaint is that the technology is not very user friendly. There is one other complaint and that is my gas mileage is below the advertised mileage. I am only getting 16.8 mpg in city driving. I have not taken it on a trip yet.

Too unusual issue

For the Vehicle Review Summary: I leased a 2026 Hyundai Palisade XRT Pro expecting a premium, adventure-ready SUV, but my experience has been disappointing. The vehicle was delivered without a front license plate mounting solution, creating an unnecessary registration issue. Wireless Apple CarPlay frequently disconnects, and even using a USB cable does not consistently resolve the problem. The right rear tire pressure sensor has already malfunctioned on a brand-new vehicle. I’ve also experienced instances where the engine revs while my foot remains firmly on the brake pedal, which is concerning from both a drivability and safety standpoint. For a new vehicle at this price point, these issues should not exist. Hyundai needs better quality control and more thorough pre-delivery inspections.
