2026 Calligraphy

Overall, the Palisade Calligraphy is a great vehicle. Great value of amenities and luxury for the price. There are a few changes from our 2020 that are not so appealing. One particularly is the constant warnings to keep you eyes on the road every time you glance at the center display while in the adaptive cruise mode. This was not a feature on our 2020 Limited which also had adaptive cruise. I suppose it is to be an added safety feature, but it is totally annoying.

I was really pleased when I first bought it but it seems like things are starting to go downhill. Not the power it had it seems like. Not as much get up and go. It seems louder too. I only have 5000 miles in it. Kind of disappointed. I do like all the features those are super nice

Not reliable

Our car is 5 months old and the screen went black for the 3 rd time. The last time the car stalled to the side is the highway where we were stranded in the middle of someone’s driveway in the middle of the country. We had to get towed and we are still waiting to hear what is wrong.

My Fourth (and least desirable) Palisade

I buy Hyundai and the Palisade Calligraphy specifically because of the technology included. The tech is great, but the 2026 falls way short in some other areas. The driver's seat power options occasionally lose settings. But the large seat problem is its inabllity to retract far enough for easy egress. Consequently, I need to have the #2 button set to all the way down and back. I manually chose #2 to exit and then #1 on reentry. Then there is the engine. I truly believe my wife's 2026 4-cylinder Sante Fe has more power and responsiveness than my Palisade. Most disappointing is the gas mileage. I have religiously track mileage on my cars for at least 20 years. This Calligraphy gets 3+ LESS MPG than my 2025 Palisade Calligraphy! Crazy for a top of line vehicle!! My driving characteristics have not changed since 2025.

Good vehicle overall. Nice amenities. Heated/Cooled seats are fantastic. Well below average gas mileage. Wireless charger in the wrong spot. Sun comes in the window and shines directly on the phone and the phone stops working because it gets too hot. Needs to be in a shaded area. Electronics are clunky. Good space back two rows.

My ride

I don’t care for the automatic bright light indicator. When turn the car off it doesn’t stay on the bright light indicator, it reverts back to normal.

SEAT ISSUES; NOW 3RD ROW WONT MOVE AT ALL, AIRFLAPS X3

3RD ROW NOW WONT MOVE FORWARD. HAD A FLAT TIRE AND COULDNT EVEN OUT THE TIRE AND RIM IN TRUNK. 2ND ROW BACK WONT GO DOWN; UNABLE TO HAVE CHILD SIT IN SEAT NOW. SOME TIMES WHEN MOVING 2ND ROW SEATS, THE FRONTS WILL MOVE INSTEAD. DEALERSHIP ALREADY RESET TWICE. AIR FLAPS HAVE GONE BAD 3 TIMES. CURRENTLY HAVE PAINT FLAKING OFF OF THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. CONFIRMED IT IS A WARRANTY PAINT ISSUE AND WAITING FOR THEM TO TELL ME WHEN I CAN BRING IT TO BE REPAIRED.

Love the vehicle but not electrical malfunctions

I bought my vehicle in late July with 37 miles on it. Less than 1500 miles and a month later, I was driving in the rain when the windshield wipers, air conditioning unit and headlights stop working. I took it to the dealership where they kept it for a week and could not replicate the issues. Less than one day of having the vehicle back and problems happened again. The dealership has had my new vehicle for a month and are in the middle of replacing the dash wire harness. I love the model and all the upgrades but the electrical issues are a safety liability. I hope they fix it with no more issues.

2026 Hyundai Palisade Xrt Pro

This is my first new car from a dealership since 1980 (a Ford Mustang) as purchased low mileage newer cars from various sources. This car's ride so smooth, you even hear the fully gas engine. The only thing l do not like is the auto stop/and start features.
