Our Santa Cruz is perfect for us

We are very happy with our new Santa Cruz! The technology is great, ride is smooth, handling is wonderful, and fit and finish done very well. The only draw back we have found is that the lower touch screen control panel indicator lights are extremely hard to see during the daytime, even with the brightness all the way up. It’s just an annoyance really, but the driver can’t see what controls are on or off easily.

Where is this touchscreen taking me anyhow?

Overall, I love this vehicle. However, there are some shortcomings. The different functions access through the touchscreen, scroll buttons, and tabs are not very intuitive or user friendly. Just plain confusing for an ole fart like me. Also, acceleration is not very responsive. Getting up to speed takes patience.

Santa Cruz Review

I very much enjoy my Hyundai Santa Cruz and will probably NOT buy another vehicle, as I am content with the vehicle I have. I have since even enhanced its look (which I call "full military dress") with front A-bar attenuator, side window, sunroof and front hood deflectors, bed rails and running boards. She is now so *hot* that I almost need asbestos gloves to even touch the handle! Love my HSC!

Epic Ride

The styling is on point and the features are over the top for the trim levels. It a cross between the comfort of a car with the usefulness of a small truck. Road noise is minimal, takes bumps very well and just rides very well. Additionally the bed has storage under it which is handy. The rubber mat for the bed has been a wonderful addition to protect the bed from any unwanted damage. Hauled 800 lbs of landscaping items in the bed and it worked out very well and almost unnoticeable being back there. Technology is great with the very large screen and a huge number of safety features.
