Body Control Module

Body control module had to be replaced at 200 miles. Vehicle was towed in to dealership. Would not start, windows would not close etc..

The built-in map system is not complete as compared to Google Maps or Waze. The direction often lead to the wrong place or have me turn around repeatedly. It is difficult to use. When the tailgate and cover are closed tight, the bed fills up with dust during normal road traveling.

Hyandai Santa Cruz

The truck runs really well. If I would have known that there is an eye sensor that you can’t turn off I would have never invested in the truck. The warning sensor I believe it is called constantly goes off, I can’t put my hand on the top of the steering wheel, look down at my coffee, change the radio station without it going off. Provide a way to eliminate the eye sensor and I will give you a great review.

Not bad but too many intrusive “nanny” features

I like the design, appearance and overall function. However there are some ill-fitting plastic body cladding. Also there are too many “nanny” features, some of which I was able to disable but there are still some that I I was unable to disable. For example the one where the parking brake automatically engages when the door is opened and the annoying seatbelt chime.

Best car I’ve ever had!

I love this truck. It drives like an SUV with a decent towing power of a small truck. It handles well and is the perfect size for me. Love the color and sleek design too. Safety features aren’t super obnoxious like some of the older models. I’m a big fan.

Good, but not great.

The Santa Cruz is great, the only downside is the gas mileage on the non turbo model. Seems like it should be getting 30mpg with that tiny 4cyl, but I’m averaging 22-23. Other than that, it’s great!
