I went from a full size pick up truck to the Santa Cruz. I love it. It’s everything I need for the work I do. Plenty of cargo space in the rear.

Very good, almost great

Love the size of the truck that drives a lot like a car. If not for a couple of issues it would go from good to great. Cruise control is touchy to set and not too smooth when it adjusts speed for inclines etc. The radio does not show the song/artist info on screen like my past non Hyundai vehicles did. And the seats are ok for in town but would be uncomfortably hard for long trips. Ride is good, transmission shifts very smoothly and the size makes it easy to get in and out of parking spots etc.

The price was great. The features are great. The fact that there have been no recalls (and I’ve been reading about Ford breaking records for recalls) has been great. I really have no complaints- like the only thing I wish was that it maybe had a little better pick up

Bought new with 45 miles, been a awesome vehicle with now 3,800 miles. Been very satisfied so far. It gets good gas mileage and handles very well. I wish there had a hybrid model available.

A good vehicle with adequate performance and features

The vehicle is good overall but a number of software enabled features should be available in all trim packages including: automated cruise control distance keeping, backup side traffic warning, automatic wipers, automatic highbeam control and automatically closing windows and sunroof when remotely locking vehicle.

Santa Cruz Frustration

I spent nearly $1000 to have a trailer hitch wire harness installed to send power to the rear on the vehicle to connect to a trailer hitch receiver. This should have been when the car was built like it is in most trucks.

This is my first Hyundai purchase. The 2025 Santa Cruz is superior in ride, comfort, and technology compared to other vehicles that I have purchased. I have been totally impressed by the technology that this vehicle offers. You must take this for a test drive to appreciate it!

Waste of money,

As advertised this vehicle was supposed to be an activity package and capable of towing about "5,000" lbs. Can't do many activities if it can only drive point A to point B . This vehicle isn't capable of towing anything like advertised..also the dealer did not disclose or make us aware that the tow hitch was not available for this model and needs to be added on as a modification... maybe a week after having it, we noticed it wasn't able to tow anything. We contacted the dealership and the dealership refused to add the modification to our vehicle and contract...I dont recommend this vehicle to anyone. For the price it was supposedly worth. It didn't even come with towing capability. If fact it was sold separately... waste of time and money. As a consumer I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has a working lifestyle. It's only good for commuting and looks .
