Mike's Santa Cruz

I love almost everything about my truck. The only issue is that the rear window is small. During the day I can see the tops of cars behind me but at night if a car is tailgating, I can't see their lights and it is too dark to see the top of their car. I've seen that I can turn on the rear camera when the gear shift is in park but I can't turn it on when I am in drive. With not being able to see cars behind me at night, I need to be able to turn on the rear camera even when I have the gear shifter in drive.

My Santa Cruz 2025

Overall I love my Santa Cruz. The only thing that I do not like is that I cannot adjust the driver seat enough to comfortably reach the petals. This is a problem for shorter drivers. Please consider addressing this in your next design build.

Everything about the vehicle is great except for the fact that I’m a pet owner and I cannot lock my vehicle with my pet inside with it running!!! not sure why that is??!?

Love the Santa Cruz, absolutely hate the in car cruise control camera.

Without the annoying cruise control in car camera, which should have been fixed with the software update, would have rated four to five stars.

It’s alright

I thought Santa Cruz is better than Ford Maverick. I should have gone to Maverick or Subaru Forester which has standard 4 wheel drive. Which the SE trim that I have, I have limited after market accessories that I can add. The worst part, there’s no camper shells for Santa Cruz, unlike Ford Maverick which has plenty of truck bed covers selections.

Little but Mighty!

The Hyundai Santa Cruz has proven to be a surprisingly capable little truck — far more than its size suggests. I’ve loaded the bed with cinder blocks, mulch, and even hauled appliances, and it handled every job phenomenally. Despite that utility, it delivers an exceptionally smooth ride, something you don’t usually get from a truck.Inside, it’s extremely comfortable, and the features are thoughtfully designed. The large infotainment screen is crisp, easy to read, and very user‑friendly. After putting more than 30,000 miles on mine, the only minor complaint I’ve had is that the windshield sprayers don’t cover quite as much of the glass as I’d like. Other than that small detail, the Santa Cruz has been a fantastic, reliable vehicle that continues to impress.

Replaced 06 Ridgeline. Much better acceleration, handling and fuel economy. Adequate bed and cabin space; good tow rating - 5K lbs. With trailer equal to light duty 1/2 ton pick up.
