Great car but there are a few things that my old Sante Fe had that this new one doesn’t. Nothing that detracts from the car.

Great upgrade

I love the Santa Fe. Great reliable vehicle. Love the new redesign. Wish they would have added a couple other features to it considering the price on the calligraphy.

The windows need a guard. I have rolled my son’s hand in it. Other than that is is a great car.

Expected Comfort and Quality. Minor automation complaints.

The comfort and quality are equal to what I've come to expect from a Hyundai. Quiet ride, comfortable seats, eye-catching styling, etc. I get compliments from everyone who rides in the car, even adults who ride in the 3rd row say there is more room than they expected. The engine has nice power and the acceleration is great. There are some minor complaints. The safety automation feels too cautious. The proximity sensors trigger the emergency steering, or emergency braking, at unexpected times because of a lane change, or other non-threatening situation. The lane-maintenance, automatic cruise control, is nice, but again feels jerky at times, or doesn't maintain best position at the center of the lane. These are minor annoyances, and take some getting-used-to, but the features are very nice to have and they work well. For a top-of-the-line trim package, I would expect the many USB ports, to be capable of higher power charging than they are. The wireless charging pads are great, but the magnet isn't strong enough to hold your phone in place; turns and road vibration will jostle your phone out of charging position.

Bronze age Limited ?

I am pleased with My Santa Fe.I had a road trip and everything worked well and I enjoyed the up to date Navigating with all the other new technology. Using the new tech was intuitive. People tease about the Key but I love it.

The Santa Fe is a fun car to drive. Still getting used to the “new-fangled” gadgets. Coming from a ‘15 370 Z and a ‘19 Nissan Frontier.

So far love

I would like to see it where the door locks all open instead of having to go do it manually. And I wish they the car company would take a lower end model and when you go up to the next model, it would keep those features lower model head on it and then add something new. What I don’t like is if you add something new, you take away something that you liked on the lower end model. Example I loved the towing hitch and the towing power and the bench seat you had on the lower model. I bought the limited because I wanted the cameras and you took away the towing, which was very important to me and lowered the towing capacity . I like the calligraphy because I wanted the heads display for speed, which I really miss but I could not get it in a bench seat which I needed for my dogs. And again no towing capacity to speak of. It would just be nice if you would leave the features of the lower models and build on it and add stuff to it not take stuff away to add something else.

Boxy but good

Happy with my Santa Fe . The technology is so much easier than my previous vehicle. It rides nice, and is responsive. Gas mileage could be better. Interior is attractive.

Love all the a safety and convenience features. EXTREMELY disappointed that the lock covers on the crossbar racks don’t attach properly. I’ve lost 2 in the first 4000 miles.

Damaged vehicle

The vehicle was sold to me with prior damage done by the parts truck driver on the front right fender over the front right wheel. It wasn't replaced only buffed out with a dent still there. There is scuffs on front right mirror and rear plastic bumper. I tried to ask them to replace the parts before i drove off with it,but no help. They said they will order paint pen and I can repair damage done by them myself at home. I need someone from corporate to contact me. This is my 3rd time asking for help. Next thing is to file a lawsuit against hyundai for this type of behavior.
