Three Months Ownership
So far have been pleased with the vehicle. Too soon to really give a solid review but can list positives at this point. Gas mileage on the highway has been 28-30 mpg and city driving near 20 mpg. Ride is smooth (XRT AWD) and have not noticed any distracting road noise. Overall the layout is very and seams well though out and controls are easy to access and intuitive. I really have found the seat to be comfortable and the head rest one of the few that I have encountered that is useable but know that will be subjective. Power is satisfactory and have had no issues passing/merging on interstate. Bottom line it is efficient and sufficient power for safe/comfortable driving.
Sound is fine and really do enjoy the Hyundai Bluelink for navigation and other features. Voice commands work well, front well charges work well and like not being tethered into the system. Auto start, climate control work/function well. Like most vehicles lots of bells and whistles that you likely won't use or even know you have.
I do find the window height and seat position not ideal. Using tellers or pay tolls or anything needing to reach down is near impossible and nearly have to "stand" on the brake pedal and rotate out. We don't use either often so just more of an inconvenience.
Second row of seats (bench) is spacious enough for adults to be comfortable and while capable of seating three, I wouldn't want to be the one stuck in the middle. For kids no problem. The seats do slide back and lean to make it a comfortable ride on longer rides. User controls for air/heat and vents appear to be useful. Plenty of chargers for access for electronics.
Third row seat is cramped and would not want to ride back there for any length of time (5'8" and 175 pounds). Would be fine for kids. Access isn't the greatest so if really want to get back there would go with different model for 2nd row captain seats. We keep the third row folded as the space is needed as the storage behind the third row is limited with seats up. The power folding seats on our model is gimmicky at best. Push the button and they flop down but manually have to raise the seats back up. More of a quick release. Not a deal breaker but my wife uses the vehicle for small craft shows so we fold it often. With the 2nd and 3rd row of seats folded good amount of storage and ideal for those not needing a large SUV.
No regrets with the purchase at this time and really like the vehicle in the short time we have owned it.
