Sonata Hybrid
Nice car but to Hyundai skimped on a few features which is why I want to get rid of this car. Such as terrible design on the outside door handle if you would ever need to use your key to unlock the door. Even the service technicians took over 10 minutes to remove the cap. Takes me over 15 minutes, just what I want in the pouring rain or freezing temperatures. Also, passenger seat is extremely uncomfortable on trips over 30 minutes because the seat sits way to low and although I have power seats, there is no adjustment to raise the seat like the driver's side does and is very comfortable. Also, a flaw that the car won't start if it sits for long periods. As a snowbird, I could leave my non-hybrid car for 5 months in the garage and when I came home it would start, but not my hybrid. I also think car manufacturers are out of their mind with not providing a doughnut spare tire. Instead, they give you a kit to blow up your tire so you can get to a place to buy a new tire. I have had blowouts before, and this option would not work. So, they don't see any problem calling for service and waiting hours for the tow truck to get there and then because you need a new tire, they need to tow you somewhere to buy a tire. Doesn't matter that it might be midnight or even on some major holiday where almost all places are closed. For some owners this may be okay but at a minimum, they should offer the option to have a regular spare tire or at least a doughnut. I also feel the lettering controlling the heat, air, defrosters etc. should be much more visible so the driver can easily get to the need control without looking 10 times trying to read the small lettering while driving. I know I have a few more problems but these are my major concerns.
