Two major flaws

I’m a 6’8” tall guy who fits well in my 2025 Sonata hybrid. I’m greatful to fit in this car with high gas mileage. What I’m disappointed in is the grabby brakes and the fact that it didn’t come with a spare tire. I remedied that by purchasing a spare, a jack and placing them in the spare tire well. Simple as that. Why a spare wasn’t provided is weird. Probably cage standards? I also have buzz in my rear speakers. I love the cars looks, mileage and computer interface.

Hyundai and many other manufacturers no longer offer a standard spare tire on some vehicles in order to decrease the weight of the vehicle which increases the fuel efficiency. ^cc

Love my Hyundai Sonata Limited Hybrid!

This is a great car! Great mileage - 44-47 mpg so far. Quiet ride even when not in EV mode. Comfortable and fun to drive. I really like the dash layout with one long screen that has the traditional info on the left and the NAV system and Media on right. It's very sleek looking like the car body. I've only had it almost 3 months so still learning to use all the features. But loving it so far! And I love my salesman, David Stea at Patterson Hyundai in Tustin CA. He goes the extra mile!

Love my Sonata Hybrid!

Car is amazing. I haven't had a new car in 16 years. I decided it was time do it. I wanted a hybrid to help with mileage and gas. I hadn't even considered a Hyundai until my friend suggested we test drive them. I instantly fell in love with it. The sleek dashboard and ease of use. Although I am having trouble getting used to the Drive and reverse selector for two reasons. 1. It's by the steering wheel and not in the consul like most cars and 2. Drive is up and it's usually 4th down on after reverse so I get confused. I am also still figuring out how to use all the options, like the back up and forward remote option, where things are on the dash like mileage calculation, tire pressure etc. since it's on the opposite side of where it was on my Acura.Otherwise I have all the same benefits plus more than my Acura which was an amazing car too. No complaints!

Happy car owner

The Sonata has all the bells and whistles. Everything operates fine and there were no problems. I am slightly disappointed in gas mileage, I’m getting 39 miles per gallon. Thought I would get mid 40s.

Not perfect

My new 2025 Sonata has 2 recurring problems... 1) the trunk randomly opens without warning.... 2) The reminder to tak a break triggers irregularly whether driving on a highway or not and whether I am driving locally t slow speeds for a short amount of time or not...

Stylish comfort & performance

The Sonata HEV is an extremely comfortable vehicle for my commute and for long trips. I love the gas mileage, the pop up display and the app. The vehicle is comfy, techy, and looks great.

too thin and weak surface of bonnet and all exterior. seat is too deep to back, not comfortable for long drive. if exterior design were looking like much gentle and simple sedan style, it would be better look...
