Hybrid Hyundai Sonata Blue

This is a base model car without a lot of bells and whistles, but it's a great car and gets excellent mileage. It accelerates nicely from a stop, but mine struggles to accelerate smoothly from 35-45 mph and particularly when going uphill. The interior is roomy and the trunk is huge. It is a comfortable car for 5 passengers. The driver doesn't have a lot of extra headroom (I'm 5'5" and have a long torso) so it may not work well for very tall people. I bought it primarily for the mileage and excellent warranty. It looks good and I'm happy with the features and set up (even though the Blue model doesn't have many extra features). It drives nicely and I am happy with it overall.

Review

Biggest issue is that I have to select Favorites every time I start the car. Ridiculous. The default should always remain with my favorites. Like every other car I’ve had. Can’t believe a software fix cannot take care of this issue. It also doesn’t remember where I left off on my Apple Carplay music. Another issue is with how it lacks any pep in “sport” mode. Really jacks up the RPMs when punching it.

GRAT RIDE

The heat seats ect … very difficult to see what you are touching … air conditioning ect … can be dangerous The drive .. reverse.. You have to be very careful … train yourself to look at dashboard…

Disappointed with the Quality of the car

I am disappointed with the quality and performance of my new vehicle. Within a short period of ownership, I have experienced the following issues: 1. The rear bumper cover started popping out within one month of purchase. 2. The car makes clunking noise that seems to come from underneath the vehicle when making a slow turn. 3.The brakes sometimes make a squeaking noise when I come to a stop, and the car does not always stop smoothly. I am disappointed that a brand-new vehicle is experiencing these issues so soon after purchase. I expected much better quality, reliability, and performance from a new car.

Well designed both in eye appeal and function

Overall great look and drive. A great value for the price. lighted car function panel needs to be made easier to see functions. Back seat exit needs to be widened for ease of exit.
