EV vs Gas

Seems I'm using gas more than EV. During the sale I asked how it worked, when it goes to EV but now I realize the answer wasn't sufficient but I didn't know to ask for clarification.

My first Hybrid

My first new car since 2017. Phenomenal technology at times hard to figure out but eventually did. Great ride. Very quiet in Hybrid mode. Getting 37-40 mpg. So far very satisfied. Will have a more detailed review when I drive the car in the winter.

Good looking hybrid, just needs a few tweaks!

Enjoying my new 2025 Hyundai Tucson hybrid limited. I like the overall sorry look and the front headlights. Gas mileage is nice at around 38-39 mpg for me. I mostly drive highway and county roads. Not a lot of stop and go. Some tech features are not as intuitive as I’d like. Also, the phone charging location is in the hot beating sun in center console causing phone to overheat. The manual is not organized or intuitive as it could be. I miss having a compass within quick view. The sunroof mechanics / buttons are very annoying so I don’t use it much. I love the comfort, as well as the startup and shut down sounds and lights are relaxing. I need to figure out how to extend keeping the external lights on upon exiting the car as I am in a very dark rural area and like that 30-45 seconds to get in the door. The standard service notifications do not align with the maintenance timeframes in the manual so that is annoying. I’m at about 6700 miles driven so far and overall I am happy with the car. I’ve had two Lexus rx350s for 19 years prior and I am not disappointed in the luxury feel of my Hyundai in replacing the Lexus.

Love the vehicle except that the battery drains with-in a week.

Battery drain means if you park your vehicle while on vacation you will have to tear off the door handle to access the key hole and jump your car. Very annoying.

I never pictured myself driving an SUV, but I'm loving it.

I never thought that I'd want a hybrid, or an SUV. My partner got me to test drive it and I was hooked. The ride is so smooth, it feels like I'm gliding along. I feel pampered. I'm also loving the mileage.

Excellent Ride at a reasonable price

The Tucson Hybrid has exceeded my expectations for a fuel efficient smaller SUV. I opted for the "Limited" package and the features that come with it are impressive. The navigation system is great, and I am averaging 36.5 mph. Would highly recommend.

For the most part I am very pleased with my Hyundai Tucson Hybrid

I would give this car a 5 star rating but I deducted for the steering wheel adjustability. It is not as adjustable as other cars and I cannot lower the steering wheel enough for my height of 5'2" so I have to sit higher up than I would like. Leather interior does not feel as luxurious as other cars I have had. That said the car drives beautifully, very smooth ride and handles well

Diamond in the Rough- This vehicle is incredible for the price!

This vehicle is truly a diamond in the rough! There are so many options in this class, but this vehicle truly feels like a luxury vehicle... without the inflated price. The limited trim Tucson Hybrid is by far the nicest vehicle in its class. Well appointed interior, well thought out and intuitive tech, and modern styling! Very happy with my purchase!!

4052 miles and in shop with multiple codes rendering it useless.

Not a good start with the vehicle needing to be towed from the driveway with multiple codes rendering it unable to drive. Hybrid system failures.

Hyundai tucson hybrid

So far, I really like it, but it is still relatively new. I'm sure there are things on there that I don't quite know how to use. I haven't taken the time to go back to the dealer yet. The books do not tell me some of the things like what is the difference in all the different drives.

Great to drive, a few of the interior buttons need some work

Great to drive. As comfy as our Lincoln MKZ, and more nimble. Love the absence of engine noise when you start. Good gas mileage. Easy to get into - even our young daughters like that. There are a few cons that should not stop anyone from buying. The color choice is poor. Add a maroon, or a lighter blue (ours is a blue that looks black). Tone your red down so it appeals more to families. Knobs and such: finish your transition away from touch controls. Fan speed should be a knob. The screen showing the presence of cars in the blind spot is great, but the red light on the mirror is hard to see at times. Put that signal on the inside post or on the back of the side mirrors (like our 2022 Altima does). On the audio side, put more volume on the road noise adjuster. The nature sounds are nice, but ditch the bells and other tinkling sounds which sound a little like warning sounds. Add a soothing classical music channel with sound leveled music. Bach, Mozart, some Chopin and Beethoven are potential candidates. (I'm kind of an expert on soft classical music and could give you a few hundred suggestions. If you went to a firm like Brilliant Classics you could likely buy a lot of their tracks at low cost.)
