Looks good but front collision indicators must be improved

The front collision indicator is flawed and should be recalled. I was told the sensor is sensitive to sun, snow, rain, fog, etc. This is a ridiculous excuse that needs to be addressed. This should not be happening on a $42,000.00 new vehicle.

Car tries to crash itself.

I've never driven a more dangerous and annoying car in the history of any car I've ever seen or driven. You can't turn off any of the supposed safety features and they are more dangerous than not having them. There's a camera watching your eyes at all times, and if you aren't looking the exact right direction for more than one second, it shuts off your cruise control, and lane keep assist, and anything else in the middle of a highway going 70 miles an hour. This thing goes off when you're just doing the basic necessities of being aware of your surroundings and looking around. But that's not the worst of it. The collision prevention system will fully slam your brakes to a complete stop if a car slows down in front of you a thousand feet that you're not even going to come close to. And this has actually caused me to become rear-ended, as well as recently it slammed the brakes so hard that I got a seat belt rash and hit my forehead on the visor. And in both cases I was nowhere near Hitting the car in front of me and had I had the chance to apply gentle brakes Everything would have ended up the same except I wouldn't have got rear-ended because it locked the brakes completely up To the point that I couldn't even maneuver the vehicle Let's get into the supposed gas mileage ratings. I've driven from Central Ohio to New York several times with the cruise control set at the speed limit or 5 miles an hour over the speed limit for the entire drive and I get 24 to 29 miles per gallon versus the advertised 34 plus. I've never had more buyer's remorse than owning this vehicle. I hate it with every fiber of my being. I would never recommend it to anyone and I wish I could go back in time and keep my 2022 Honda Accord instead of trading it in for this 2025 hybrid version with the highest possible trim.

Overall - still a great vehicle

I had the same vehicle but upgraded to newer model. Only issues are around the sensitivity of the auto-breaking, which has almost placed me in 4 accidents (me almost getting rear ended) when it was uncalled for. I also noticed an issue with my bluetooth phone connection, where the phone shows connected but won't go through the vehicle. Lastly, back lift gate sometimes responds to button and sometimes does not. Outside of these technical issues, the vehicle is sturdy and drives smooth.

Excellent except for a few flaws.

Love the car overall. Only complaints are I wished the backseats would lay down flat when folder. Waste of extra space. Also no spare tire. I will end up buying one aftermarket because we travel in remote areas. This should be standard. You shouldn’t try to save money on safety.

This vehicle is very well thought out and put together. Initial quality truly excellent. The self-steering (lane centering) feature is why I bought this car -- truly & cleanly steers and for many minutes at a time.

A lot of cool gadgets.

The Hyundai that we bought is a joy to drive.. I especially like the "cruise control" that even if it is set at 70+, it will keep a safe distance from the car ahead of you, even in bumper to bumper traffic and you never have to touch the pedals. I pay attention, and am ready to hit the brake if needed, but it seldom is, (if someone squeezes into the space in front of you , you might react before the car does, but it's close). So many nice new features to this vehicle.

Almost Perfect still needs work

I traded in a 2023 Lincoln Nautilus for my 2025 Tucson Hybrid Limited. So the Tucson has a real high bar to meet. The headlights are too low, and it makes it hard to see at night. I am used to driving lights and cornering lights on the Nautilus. The cargo light is on the left side of the rear compartment, so if you lean in to the cargo compartment, you block all the light for the rear compartment. Rear turning signals need to be included with the marker lights up higher rather than so low. I like the column mounted gear shift on the Tucson. The heads-up display is Great and helps out you to keep your eyes on the road. It has a lot of great safety features that I love. Finding things in the large infotainment center is easy. I have not tried the remote parking feature yet, but it is a Great idea. I do like the easy way of getting in contact with Bluelink, it is one button away, if you need them or if you are in an accident. The Hyundai Smart Cruise Control is 100 times better than the Lincoln CO-PILOT360 1.0 PLUS. A power tilt/telescoping steering column would be a great add-on for the Limited, rather than a manual tilt/telescoping steering column. The warranty 5-year/60,000-mile New Vehicle Warranty is GREAT. The center console is way too small. It looks more like an afterthought than a feature. The ability to see your vehicle 360 degrees and move your vehicle around on the screen is a great benefit. You cannot tell when it switches from Hybrid to gas engine at all. The transition is so smooth. It has the power that you need to merge into traffic without stress as well. The seats could use some more padding for comfort. Bluelink and Hyundai customer service leaves a lot to be desired. After multiple emails, I just gave up. They do not answer the question asked. They just repeat what is on their website already. I guess they have a script they have to follow for all questions and are not allowed to think on their own. I am still trying to find out if my Tucson has heated side mirrors. Hyundai's website says it is standard on the Limited, but it does not look like I have them on my Limited.
