Best Car i Ever purchased- 1st new car purchased in 20 years.

I wanted a car to tell me whats going on and sensing all the cars around, me. Coming from a 2015 Lexus car, this 2025 Hyundai Tucson LTD Hybrid, is amazing. Its constantly sensing the drive w/o being so annoying with bells and whistles , calmly lets me know where all the traffic is , and warns me when needed. Im so impressed with the mileage, but the best part is the 4 cylinder hybrid moter, the power is amazing, very impressed.

Great in so many ways. Feels luxurious! Has a couple of nit picky icks

I love the car. It’s comfortable and easy to drive. I love the entertainment system and car play, and the special sports messages are cute! Could be cool if I had an ai assistant in there, but I bet that’s a few years off. I don’t like the touch buttons for the cabin features. It’s hard to know what I’m pressing while driving. I’m also afraid to spill anything on the seats because of the air conditioner, but first world problems am I right? The exterior paint has chipped off in places that I’ve never seen around my trunk door, which sucks. And the front grill feels like plastic and shows signs of wear after 4k miles, which also sucks. I also have a black gap in the lights at night which is distracting.

Excellent car. A few negatives though.

The hyundai tucson hybrid limited that I purchased is an excellent vehicle overall. I rate it a 4 only because my standard for 5 stars would be perfection, which it is not. Drawbacks from my perspective are as follows: Unacceptably uncomfortable back middle seat, very noisy reverse warning system, wiper blades that come on and do one swipe for zero reason, no spare tire (almost did not buy it for this reason and i still worry about it every time we travel and probably would not buy it again for this specific reason), awkward adaptive cruise control that is hard to engage, automatic lane control that feels zig zaggy, and wiper blades that do not lift up to clean the windshield (another really bone headed design).

Mixed bag

Mileage is great better than the 35 listed. Rattle on rear seat. Electrical is strange . One time the radio froze. Could not turn up down or off. Sometimes it will go without seatbelts on sometimes it doesn’t. Fan seems to run after turning off for over 1/2 hour. I know manual says it will do that but for 30 minutes? Display seams to change for no reason. Sometimes eco mode other times tachometer. Etc. Car is nice and quiet and peppy when needed. Overall satisfied.

Great mini SUV terrible key fob. . . .

The Tucson is an easy driver and has all the bells and whistles I could ask for. I love the 360 and parking cams. The turn signal cam is great too. The hud works amazing! The reason for 4 stars? My biggest complaint is the terrible key fob. The one from last year was so much better. It had a a place to put your physical key and was smaller and more compact. It is also much more durable. the second complaint would be the lack of a spare tire. . . I understand the plug in does not have the room for the spare, but the normal hybrid has the room for one.

So far so good. Finger print sensor is unreliable

I traded up from a Veloster 6-speed. The ride, acceleration, technology, dashboard, cooling seats (it’s summer), lane assistance, cargo space, tires that are NOT low profile, and everything but the finger print reader meets my expectations. This is the 4th new Hyundai vehicle I have purchased. Thanks for the outstanding product and warranty!
