Brake assistance biggest downfall

I like everything about the car, except for the brake assist. It is so incredibly sensitive that I will literally be 1000ft behind the car in front of me going 5mph, and it will hard brake on the fwy. My husband has sprained his wrist, and I’ve almost been rear ended twice.

It’s an ok car

I was really happy with the car for the first 6 months and then after driving it exclusively in ev mode for a few weeks, the 12v battery died and the car needed to be jump started. This never happened with my Volvo phev.

I’ve had a lot of cars. Cars I bought and cars I’ve leased. I really don’t care much for cars. I just want to get to point b from point a. But this car, this is the first car I absolutely LOVE. I might extend my lease!!!!

Overall great, but there are battery issues

Overall, I really like this vehicle. It's comfortable and has more tech than I have ever experienced. The only down side is the battery has randomly died twice - even with a fresh charge and full tank of gas. No one seems to be able to provide an explanation either. If this problem could be solved, I would give the vehicle 5 stars.

Nearly perfect PHEV

I love my Tucson PHEV. I hope they keep making them, because they’re a great fit for people like me - parents of small kids who don’t want to go out of their way to accommodate fully electric cars, but want to really cut back on gas expenses. There are a few minor issues I think Hyundai should look at for future models, but these are iterative quirks rather than major downsides.

An awesome Hyundai.

This is my second Hyundai; I had a 1st generation Tucson the went 200,000 miles in 16 years. With the exception of ware items with normal service, it was trouble free. I have had my 2025 Hyundai Tucson PHEV LTD for 11 months at 7000 miles and every time I climb in it to go somewhere I find the journey all the better because of this Tucson. The Hyundai has been serviced at the dealer I purchased it at; Fred Beans Hyundai of Doylestown they are taking good care of the car. My Hyundai experience is very satisfying, with both the Tucson and the dealer.

Loving my Plug In Hybrid Tucson

The only downside is if you don't drive it for a week or so in the winter the battery that starts the vehicle goes completely DEAD! I had to call AAA and have them come out and jump the car when I got home from vacation. The car showed the battery at 100%, but that battery doesn't start the vehicle. It would have been nice if this issue were somehow explained when I bought the vehicle, or at least addressed in the owners manual.

Blind spot sensors

I leased my Tucson for 2 reasons: 1. gas mileage. 2. Blindspot monitoring. I had a tow hitch installed so we could attach a bike carrier to the vehicle. The carrier has a full set of taillights. When I plug in the wiring from the tow hitch adapter none of the blind spot monitors function. This is important for me to have full visibility of the oncoming traffic from the rear of the vehicle. By raising the bike carrier 15" from the tow hitch all the blind spot sensors work, however when plugging in the wiring plug from the tow hitch the carrier lights work but the blind spot sensors are de-activated.

Love the vehicle

It is easy to get into and out of the vehicle. The car has good pick up and all systems and blue link work well. The battery is too small and takes to long to charge. The BlueLink is useful but has some computer glitches from time to time.

My wife and I like our phev Tucson it's a lot of fun to drive . I like the fact that we do most of our trips around town off the battery. We have only had to fill our gas tank five times in the last four months.

It is a great small SUV.

I like this car. The power, handling, fuel efficiency, features, and appearance are great. One flaw, which stopped me from giving 5 stars is the lack of proximity warning beeps in front.
