Nice little SUV.

It is actually fun to drive. The car feels bigger than it is. Low road noise, great fuel economy, more comfortable than I thought it would be.

This is a review of the 2024 Hyundai I have leased.

I like the Venue very much. I wish it had a "grabbing handle" {for lack of a better term) above the drivers seat. I have enjoyed driving it and the gas mileage is very good.

Perfect vehicle for around town

I purchased this vehicle to replace a 2006 PT Cruiser. I considered several hybrid models, but I do no not put miles on a car since retiring, only 7,000 miles in 2.5 years. The pluses: problem free so far, just routine maintenance, tight turning radius, maneuverability, excellent gas mileage. Observations: This car was not made for tall people with long legs. I am 5’6” tall, average weight but find the rear seating a bit tight. The luggage area is small but sufficient for grocery shopping and day trips. The roof rack can accommodate additional luggage but blocks the sunroof. A lock on the glove compartment would be nice, and lack of storage space forces me to keep the interior tidy. Overall, I am very happy with the 2024 Hyundai Venue. It is perfect for city driving and parking in tight spaces. I suspect long trips would get uncomfortable given the firm seats and tight suspension but I don’t do that kind of driving. It is a solid well built compact SUV so hope to be driving it for a long time.

Ok for the times

Only holds 10 gallons of gas, so, because of the current gas prices, it's ok. Easy for my elderly mom to get in and out of.

So Happy with my Petite Rouge

Very happy with the car. It was sold to me with the understanding that Hyundai would honor 3 years of free oil changes. Sadly the dealerships were not honoring that. I bought it with only 4000 miles in 2024.
