I started with Burns GMC Terrain. I loved it but I returned it the day the engine started to smoke i
n their parking lot. Problems? Absolutely not! Within days, they took it back, and I left with my first Hyundai Accent without payments. That car was wonderful on gas mileage, easy to park and I drove it close to four years before I had an accident which would have cost too much to repair. Burns came with the tow truck and took me back to the show room. When every thing was settled, I purchased another Accent which I am still driving 50,000 miles later. Including today's visit, I have never had anything but excellent service, courtesy, easily made appointments, and top quality parts available when needed. Who could want anything else? PS. I don't consider myself lucky !

I always prefer to bring my husband's and my car to the dealership to have services done, but the onl
y way we could afford to do that is with the free oil changes and tire rotation that came with our cars' warranty. We would usually bring his car to the La Quinta Hyundai dealership because they could often take us as a walk-in or with only a day or two of notice. Every time we would bring his car in, they would always wash it and vacuum inside where your feet go too - I liked that because my dad always taught me that when you return something to someone, you return it in better condition than when you received it and this is a perfect practice of that lesson. When I brought my car in to the High Desert location for the first time, they said their sprayer wasn't working but that next time it would be, so they'd do extra good next time, but next time never came and they've never brought it up again. I understand they seem very busy, but I think the standard should be the same for all related dealerships. If one can do it, that should be the minimum for every one else too. Again, I can't complain because I couldn't afford to come here without the warranty supporting my costs, but I should still be treated as if I was paying for it. It's not something worth complaining about though and the people who work at High Desert are generally very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with, so I make sure to not be a problem. I love Hyundai as a company; I love the warranty coverage that shows they support and believe in what they have. I used to think Hyundai was a cheap foreign company that made junk vehicles but all my experiences with Hyundai cars have been excellent. I do recommend my vehicle to others and I would love my next vehicle to be another one. For what you get, the price is just unbeatable. I wish the Blu coverage lasted longer, and of course I wish the free oil changes lasted for as long as the original owner owns the car but there's a silly old saying: "If wishes were horses, then everyone would ride."

They were incredibly patient with me while I test-drove multiple new and used vehicles, never making me feel rushed.They even stayed late past closing time to make sure everything was taken care of. The customer service here is truly outstanding and completely transparent. It has that great, honest, small-town dealership feel, but they can easily compete with the larger market dealers on selection and price. Highly recommend Mark, Alex, and the rest of the team!
