Bad experience....with a happy ending.
They contacted me because they saw I was interested in selling my truck ( I was on various sites researching my truck's trade-in value, and it seems they must track some of those sites). Anyway, I explained to them several times that I was looking at trade in value and that I had a couple of offers from carmax and nerdwallet. The lady I spoke to said that they usually (key word) do better than them. I figured, what the heck, they are only an hour away, why not. Now, I was brutally honest about rating my truck, actual mileage, scratches, as well as the accessories. Well, they lowballed me by $3000.00 and made it sound like they were being very generous and magnanimous about the whole deal. I told him he was low and thanked him for his time. He was a bit taken aback about that. Asked me if I wanted his estimate, said I could keep it or even throw it in his face if I wanted to. Okay, I did kinda chuckle over that. Obviously, he has done this before with limited success. As I left, he tried to engage and explain his position, I just smiled and left. The lady I originally spoke to sent me a half-hearted apology email that made me chuckle, too.

Update: I sold my truck to Driveway.com for $25,150. Blaise Alexander offered to go as high as $22,000 (after telling me it was only worth $21,000 and change). Even though I was only asking for trade-in value, I was prepared to take $24,000 when I went there. Lucky for me, they low balled me. I guess I owe them a thank you.

stole down payment
put a deposit on a car and the closing fees went from less than 150 to 650.00.
canceled deal and they are refusing to refund my deposit for now.
it is a violation of several state and federal laws.
stay away if they do this to an employee they will and have done it to others.

If I could give no stars I would
After agreeing on an offer AND making arrangements to have the vehicle delivered they call us the day before and offer us 2k less on our trade in. We had already agreed on a number and even though my vehicle was worth more than what they were offering to begin with I surely wasn't going any lower. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. These people are a joke. This vehicle was for my birthday and now it's ruined. I will be sure to spread this experience around with EVERYONE I possibly can. I should have read the other reviews before even dealing with these people!

Horrible customer service from body shop
Got a estimate on a repair. A small dent, a few hours work I was told. I dropped off my Jeep and they waited until 8 hours later to even attempt to pull my Jeep into their garage. Then I was told it would be two more days to fix. My estimate said 0 days and it’s a small bump. I told Justin jordon the person I was dealing with the whole time that it was bad service to not even start my Jeep until mid day the following day from my appointment and that I couldn’t go 4 days without my Jeep. He told me “well you don’t have to have your work done here”. I said “absolutely, I’ll be right down to pick up the Jeep.” So I missed a days work to have nothing done to my Jeep and be treated like that from Justin. Horrible service and I will continue to put a review on any site I can find and let everyone I know hear about my horrible experience with Blaise Alexander in Mansfield and how disrespectful and unprofessional their body repair worker was.

Lied to repeatedly about the offer on my truck
I purchased a 2018 Ford F150 XLT super crew cab from them in March, 2019 from a very reputable salesman and manager at the time named Chad Koch. The sale and follow up to the sale went perfectly. I recently received two flyers in the mail, two months in a row. Both flyers were offering to buy back my truck at a certain price, plus an additional 20%. I disregarded the first flyer as spam mail. Upon receiving the second mailing, which was actually a letter, I decided to call BA Ford in Mansfield. I spoke to Abbie regarding the mailings. I asked at least three different ways if the offer was legitimate as long as my truck was in the condition I said it was in. I also told her I was driving from approx. 90 minutes away to sell them my truck. I was assured every time I asked this was a guaranteed offer for my truck and "we wouldn't conduct business that way" meaning her word was valid. I make the long drive to BA and was met by an older gentleman. I told him I had an appointment to meet with Abbie. He said she actually only assists with mailing promotional offers and I would be assigned a salesman. I sit down with a nice enough salesman named Dan. He asks for my keys to look over my truck. So far, so good. Dan then comes back with a ridiculous lowball offer for my truck, which was at least $10,000 less than the price I was guaranteed on the phone by Abbie. I told him no way and Dan called over another employee named Pete. I then went back and forth with Pete and Dan to no avail. I was told Abbie's word meant nothing and she doesn't have the authority to make an offer on my truck. Needless to say, I walked and sold my truck the following day to another dealership for considerably more than what BA had offered me. Avoid this dealership at all costs. They will lie to get you in the door and then act like you are wasting their time when you travel there to close what you think is a valid deal. I will never step foot in any BA dealerships ever again.

Update on my previous review
I'll start with, it is amazing how one act, one person can make a complete difference in your experience. Blaise Alexander Ford of Mansfield has an amazing GM! There were some hiccups with my purchase experience, which lead to me leaving a one star rating. However, Doug Hillyard, the GM made all the difference in the world. I live an hour and half away from this dealership and I will definitely be back to do business with them! So, if you're in the market for a new or used car, this is the place to go. We got a good deal on a nice truck (FYI that was before any hiccups). They have some nice inventory at reasonable prices. Ask for Doug and tell him Anna from Ithaca sent you!!!

I would say go somewhere else. Found a 2012 truck on line, with low mileage, nice price. On Monday we take the HOUR AND A HALF drive to go check it out. We find the truck, salesman jokes about the service manager or whomever using the vehicle as their own. Which was apparent by the inside. Dog hair all over the back seat. Kids drawings in the pocket. Straw wrapper on the floor (which I picked up and put in center console). You could tell that this truck was being used. What further cemented it was the mileage from the listing vs the odometer was almost 1,000 miles more. No biggie, let's take her for a spin. Husband loves it and we decide to buy it. So, come Wednesday we go in to sign the paperwork 2 hours later we finally can leave. At this point I'm tired!!! 1.5 hours for waiting on paperwork is tiring and boring!!! The truck is out front waiting, I figured it's all ready to go. Now mind you I have purchased at least 7 brand new vehicles and 6 used ones over my lifetime. Every dealership has made that car shine on day of pick up. So, silly me, I assume (we all know that danger) this dealership does the same. I get in my car & drive away. My husband gets in the truck. My husband, not wanting to cause a scene says nothing. That truck was as gross as it was the day we test drove it!! For god sake, the straw wrapper was still in the console!! All they did was wash the outside & armor all the floor mats!! I took pictures & notified them that I was not happy. They said "oh bring it back we'll clean it up for you & give you a free oil change" Um hello, they know we love an hour and a half away!! I ask for them to at least consider my drive time, my gas, my mileage etc for coming the hour & half, wait for them to clean it, then drive home, and to please contact a local dealership around me to complete a job that should have been attended to during the two days they had to prep it. Their response...crickets!! So, be warned future buyers. Customer service and customer consideration is not their forte.
