Took my daughters car in for R-ball joint and alignment, quote by owner Scott $410
Went to pick up and Scott gave me a bill of $1409.13 for work I never agreed to and price never given upfront. $922 was just in labor. They even did a oil change $159 which she just had done at Jiffy Lube for $35. If I could give a minus 5 stars I would. Take your attorney with you and get a notarized quote first! Or avoid this con all together.

Doesn’t give price Quotes before doing work
Took vehicle in to have a miss diagnosed and when identified the it was asked what the cost would be, a value was never given. When asked home many hours, no value was given. Don’t let them do any work until the exact work is defined and a price for the work is given and agreed to. It’s also better if your a guy and not a girl when you talk to them about prices to do the work, but even then you will have to be persistent. It will save you thousands of dollars you didn’t need to spend.

Cottonwood Auto Repair
I've taken my car to the dealer I bought it from for years. Recently tried Cottonwood Auto Repair and felt they did a job as good as the dealer. I also found the the personnel to be easy to work with, and the pricing is very fair.

Crooked mechanic!
Do not use these crooks! Seriously they ripped me off. I needed my car diagnosed because I was having power issues, and first he said my battery was bad so he wanted to replace that first, then he said my catalytic converter was bad; which is was. He charged me $200 for that!? After I told him I could not afford to replace the catalytic converter (that he quoted me $750 for, and that was if he didn’t have problems getting it out; then it would be more; that was an estimate) anyway, when I picked up the car, he added another $55 to my bill without even talking to me, he said it was for another test he did that he didn’t add to the $200 he had already told me. He said he has to “make sure they are taken care of”. Anyways, he added that because I said no to the replacement; after I told him I couldn’t do it because I couldn’t afford it! I would highly recommend going somewhere else! Save your time and money!!
