Regards,
It appears to me that they either forgot to fill out the report card when I brought my car in and then decided to just fill out a dummy one where everything is A-OK, or misplaced the one they actually did and then just sent me a "go away, everything is fine with your car" kind of message. I did ask to see if they were sure they had sent me the correct one specifically asking about the tire pressure differences, and they assured me that it was the right card, and offered to let me bring my car back in to recheck it and the clutch again for my peace of mind. When I mentioned that it was unusual that all the numbers were the same for pressure, tread, and lining, I received no response. I also chose not to bring my car back to them since I don't feel like I can trust them.
Since I had concerns, I took my car to a different location (not related to Hyundai) to get a much needed oil change anyway, and they revealed to me that my cabin air filter needed to be changed (I also checked later, and it definitely did - I last changed it 7+ years ago), and the engine coolant was low. My tire treads also had some variance, and my brake lining measurements also didn't line up with what the report card showed. Finally, my car has a clutch that the Hyundai report card didn't show.
While the multi-point inspection was not the primary reason I brought my car in, if they were willing to lie to me about that, I don't know that I can trust them to do the service work that they said they did. I guess the recall work was done, but I have no way of actually checking. Unless there is a dire recall that must be addressed as soon as possible, I don't intend to return to this location again.
