Nice dealership! Couple bad apples.
Not sure who owns/ runs this dealership but I was appalled with the sales staff and management..
My visit started off nice.. friendly, accommodating, good small talk.
We test drove the car we went to look at and it checked all the boxes. We filled out paperwork, the sales manager came to chat with us and talk numbers.. I started negotiations which is pretty customary for most dealerships/ car buyers.. l asked for some off the top... Almost instantaneously his demeanor changed and he got aggressive with my wife and I. You can certainly tell me it's not happening or negotiate with me but the way he was talking to us was not cool. l asked for his manager. He came over and not only condoned it but really couldn't care less.. like business as usual right. At that point it wasn’t so much about price but the way I was being talked to we could have worked it out. Safe to say we were out of there! Not saying people will have unpleasant experiences here just offering some insight into the way I was handled. Not good.

Scam - Lemon Car, Terms of Deal Unmet, Horrible Customer Service
Very unscrupulous dealership. They sold us an electric car with the promise of delivering the next day and including a working charger. They claimed that the 100+ point inspection showed all parts in good working order. When we signed, they changed the delivery date to 2 weeks later, then delivered the car dead without a charger so we couldn’t use it, leaving us with 1 vehicle and 2 commutes for days. After we finally got a charger, the charger port didn’t work, and the touch screen that operates all major functions on the car stopped working within a few days. To each major issue that arose, they claimed there was nothing they could do, which is patently untrue. I’ve purchased dozens of vehicles in my life. This is the single time I’ve experienced this kind of stereotypically dishonest “used car salesman” behavior. If you don’t want to be cheated, stay far away from Gladstone Mitsubishi.

Update: after initially leaving this review, Gladstone Mitsubishi’s manager called and essentially demanded that I take down the negative review. When I told him about my experience and concerns, he began mocking my complaints, asking why I thought my husband and I deserved better service when buying a used car. When I said I’d be glad to take down the negative review, but that they needed to make the car issues right, he ended the call. I’d still be glad to take down the negative review if they were willing to address the issues with the car that they hid before. Honestly representing what they’re selling clearly isn’t their priority.

Fleeced
Gladstone Mitsubishi got me this time—don’t let it be you. I recently purchased a 2017 Sienna XLE from Andy at the Gladstone Mitsubishi store and was totally fleeced in the process. The car’s engine made a whirring sound in the parking lot and I was assured that it’s from a new timing belt that they just installed. Given my reservations, Andy further assured me that the dealership would draft a We Owe clause in my contract that would protect me for any issues related to the sound. After purchasing the vehicle, the floor manager, Danny, reported to me that the shop looked into the issue and diagnosed the root cause as leaves in the motor. I was hesitant to accept their diagnosis but purchased the vehicle regardless, assuming that I could exercise my We Owe contract if the sound returned. After the sound returned and had obviously not been resolved, I contacted Andy and was greeted with a smug attitude that screamed “I got you”. He at that point communicated to me that the We Owe only held Gladstone Mitsubishi accountable to “check” the sound, not resolve it—what good is that to me? I was fooled by the way Gladstone Mitsubishi drafted their We Owe statement and I was foolish enough the believe that my salesman was honest in his communication. Unfortunately for me, Gladstone Mitsubishi really fortifies the horrible reputation that used car salesmen have. I don’t know where to send you for an honest used car sale, but I know it isn’t here—take your money elsewhere. These guys are jokes and don’t deserve your time or money.

Hidden damage - don't trust them
They practice covering up damage just like the shoddy dealerships on 82nd.
for the high dollar pricing, I expect more.
I will spread the news to everybody who will listen - DO NOT BUY FROM GLADSTONE MITSUBISHI

BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE!! I do NOT recommend Gladstone Mitsubishi and if you buy from there I do NOT recommend Brandon Keller as a sells person. He is terrible, rude, and disrespectful (and before the dealership or Brandon try to add a rebuttal - after he was rude and disrespectful I gave him a piece of my mind and colorfully told him he was the most worthless pos salesman I have ever dealt with at which point I would not deal with him anymore)!! These people have no clue what they are doing and have no problems being rude to buyers and will not take responsibility for their mistakes. The manager kept saying they were a new company and to have patience. My son purchased this car from Gladstone Mitsubishi and paid for the car and shipping in full. Car was shipped more than a week ago but they dropped the ball and never ship the title. When the salesman was contacted to get information he was rude and kept cutting me off and wouldn’t let me even finish my questions. He said it wasn’t his job and that the title manager was in charge of the title. When I asked him to hand me over to the title manager he refused. The car is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow and the title has yet to be sent. They still have it in their possession. After speaking to the manager they planned to ship the title directly to a local DMV instead of the buyer! Now the car is going to arrive and no way of getting tags for several days. They also refused to provide a 30 day tag due to THEIR mistake and when requested a bill of sell they refused again and sent a buyers settlement. I guess the car is supposed to be a lawn ornament in the front yard. I would NOT recommend the dealership as they have no clue what they are doing and don’t care if they do their jobs or not.

Great Crew & Customer Service!
Worked with Mathew to find my forever sport car. He was very informative on car knowledge and had any key waiting for me for test drives. He even stayed after hours to make sure I was satisfied with the whole process. Want to thank Brandon as well for helping me get through such a quick & friendly paperwork experience. This was my fastest time ever. Thank you Mathew & Brandon I'll be sending friends & family your way!

Never Again
Purchased a used Outlander Sport, then noticed side view mirrors were not right had a whitish film on them. They said oh it will clean right off. It Didn't! They failed to tell me the vehicle had been wrecked. I traded it in a month later at another dealership for a much nicer Outlander SE and have been treated very well by the other dealership. Never again will I step foot in Gladstone Mitsubishi, and I love Mitsubishi Outlanders.

SCAM
SCAM & FRAUD...SCAM & FRAUD...SCAM & FRAUD....

Buyer's beware of this dealership especially the ATS dealership which is apart of Gladstone Mitsubishi.. Beware of Kim & Debra Lorentz at the ATS.. Came In from Eugene to look at their cars, didnt really like any of the cars, Kim was really trying to sell us on a 2019 Jeep Latitude Plus with 30,000 with one wreck for $21,000, which was not currently on the lot due to going through inspections. Agreed to atleast look at it, they pushed me into them bringing it to me at my residence, which there was a contingency of me liking the vehicle and if not they would bring me back up there, in order for that I had to put down a 250 down payment to secure the transaction.
Kim told us to take a loaner just in case we do like it that the delivery guy has a vehicle to drive back, which I agreed. A few days later I called to see when they were gonna bring the Jeep down, Deb told me I had to put insurance on it first for them to bring it down, which I'm not gonna put insurance on a vehicle I'm not even sure I was going to buy.
During this process I went and looked at s brand new Jeep Latitude Plus for the same price. So I told Deb, I'm just coming back up to deal with it. So 2 days later on a friday I went up there and decided to stop in at the Chevy dealership while I wait for my girlfriend to get up there with the loaner vehicle, found a car that fits my needs just in case I didn't like the Jeep.
While at the Chevrolet I get a very rude and concerning text from Kim telling me, she says I'm shopping around for other cars and that I better bring the loaner back or she is gonna call the authorities and get me for a stolen vehicle". Which the car was on its way.
We took the car back and ended up not wanting the Jeep and after those texts nothing from them. In this process Deb advised me I would be paying for the miles that the loaner car was driven and that's totally not right being the fact we didnt even need the loaner we just had to take it because if we wanted the Jeep the delivery guy had something to get back on. She then kicked me off their lot, I have never been treated like this by a business, was totally unprofessional and uncalled for.
We then called the GM at the main dealership ship for help, his name was Jake Pratt, he advised us he couldn't do anything to help, what kind of GM says that but anyways.
Tried calling ATS but they just say everyone is busy and cant talk to anyone, I have never been scammed and treated like this. If ur thinking of buying a car I would say run, run as fast down the street to another dealership as u can. It ain't worth the hassle..

BEWARE
!!!BEWARE!!! I have been unfortunately subjected to YO YO finance scamming through this same dealership twice now. They target people like me who they think they can pull one over on. I was "approved for financing the day I bought my jeep, put a large downpayment on and drove it home. 18 days later and a 3rd contract they were wanting me to sign I ended up taking my car and downpayment back. which they wanted me to pay the 400$ they put into my car since they already had it on the lot for sale. I'm so disgusted with them..

False representation of vehicle and poor sales representation
Found a 2015 Ford F350 platinum (62k miles) posted online by this dealership. I was working 5 hours away so I had lots of back and forth conversations between myself and the sales rep. He assured me the truck was in “showroom condition” and he was very familiar with the vehicle. I was also told it was a local PNW 1 owner vehicle. After doing my own Carfax, I learned it actually came from Canada. I thought it might have been some sort of miscommunication but gave Gladstone Mitsubishi the benefit of the doubt. Immediately I was concerned with the condition of the trucks rust or undercarriage condition, I was immediately reassured that the truck was in great shape and not to worry about it. After negotiating a price over the phone and scheduling a time to come look at the truck I made the drive down.

As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the salesman I had been working with, shown to the truck. Right away I crawled underneath to address my biggest concerns. It had clearly been undercoated (painted) over existing rust. After walking around the exterior it was obvious of surface rust on multiple areas of the doors/fenders.

When asked what I thought about the truck, I told the sales guy my concerns of the rust and paying premium dollar for a nice/newer truck. His response was “We can’t negotiate anymore on the price today. The general manager of the store saw you climb underneath the truck when you got here and knew you wouldn’t buy it.” He then decided that regardless of the price, he wouldn’t feel comfortable selling me the truck because the dealership never should’ve put it on the lot in the first place.

I specifically asked these questions before making the drive down and was told anything it would take to get me there.

I will NEVER return to this dealership/franchise. I would never recommend this dealership to any friends. Please do yourself a favor, look elsewhere for your next vehicle.
